This legendary sale I'll do all my scrapping in a private world and see if I get better results.

First figure out, on average, whats the longest you regularly go without playing the game? Then, take a break from the game for that amount of time plus an additional 48 hours. If you play every single day, just take a full 48 hour break from it. Do not sign in during this time. I wouldnt even launch the game.

When you come back, you'll have an increased chance to unlock legendary crafting and get the mods dropped. You'll have better mods drop as well, for example you'll be more likely to get a good 4* mod or learn the crafting to a highly sought after 4* mod when you return.

Doing this, I learned Conductor's crafting plus got a box mod from a single item when scrapping about 9-10 Flatliners, and i unlocked crafting on propelling, scanners, and i think 3* agility, all within 1 hour of returning back to the game after a 48 hour hiatus. I had other mods dropping as well but they werent anything special.

skeletal_fluorosis: yeh it's insane really, what's beths logic? oh i forgot they abandoned logic a long time ago but still... ugh... shouldn't the 1 star be the most expensive? it's the most powerful really. the others are subsidiary. can't believe it's 15/30/60. not even gonna mention how kinda crap the 4 star effects seem (so limited! ugh. should be heaps more cool effects and not as limited as to what you can put them on)

the balance in this game is so messed up. and they're not even ''protecting'' you, or anything, cos it's PVE carebear game now, so doesn't even matter. so dumb. todd howard = POS.

steveanchors4134: Thanks for the video. RNG was denying me Thru-Hiker. I would scrap up to 20 at a time with no luck. I finally let it sit for a few weeks while I collected more legendaries to scrap. I maxed out at 78. I finally learned the mod when scrapping #68. Now I need to work on the 4* effects. Good luck everyone!

pcgamingnerd9529: I found that if you have an item that you named for example

ZzFixer with bloodied , explosive, durability. And you scrap a bunch of legendary items there's a high probability you will get what ever you have equipped. The learning craft box mod is at random .

Say if you have a 4th star legendary like polished. I got something completely random aegis is what I learnt instead
