hughejasse1: I certainly like the thought process and thinking outside the box. But that's a lot of work for little rewards, at least for me. I'm not sure why it's working but on public servers I've been using my autoaxe to sort of back the boss into a corner since they can't shoot when you get in close then sort of whittle them down over time. Other players show up, see the boss stuck, and join in. Even when the axe breaks they don't shoot. Probably a bug but it's better than wasting ammo. Thanks for the video and take care.

Supprised they didnt remove the 4th star drop. They should have made it drop 4th star box mods. Probably make people bother with them. raventamer99: Multiple melee players with bleed and poison damage can bully them in about 5 minutes. It depends on their weapons: they bug out when you're face-hugging them and don't seem to use single-shot rifles or broadsiders&gaussRifles etc properly like they can't reload??

trevino73: Yeah this is too much work for what little rewards you get. I soloed the boss on a private server which took me a little over 7 minutes. I ended up using a unique 3 star legendary sniper rifle. Didn’t use a lot of ammo but again took me over 7 minutes. Just kept my distance and down he went. The other mobs were easy to put down. I ended up using an overdrive, blight soup, and that drink it get from the vending machine (sorry can’t remember what it’s called).

MACCAox: There is an even easier method all you have to do is get right in front to the boss, make sure your Kneeling have a heavy hitting melee weapon and just keep hitting them. As they are taller than most Mobs when they swing to hit you they miss every time and cant shoot you with their gun as it fires over your head.

jaydarke: Had zero issues soloing last week. Little challenge. Spent ammo. Has to run and heal. It was fun.

Tried one tonight, and barely took off a third of the bosses health with a 1000 rounds. And was back to getting one-two shotted by then. Why is it so hard for them to find a balance and keep it?

laserprojects: I have been able to do several solo infestations by running up on the boss while in a corner of a structure and using melee weapon of choice to attack. The non-robotic bosses cannot fire their weapons when pushing up against them. Some of them I have died several times but have eventually defeated the boss ending the infestation.

ElectiveYeti31: If you have the time a nice option and you get to farm other stuff in the silos. I am still looking for weapons with Tarnished four star and Armor with Hauler's so it's still worth my time. It just seems that the update to Infestations was a little spiteful on their part because of players complaining it was too easy, hard for me to believe they didn't know how much harder they made it.

SaggzDaKlown: if ive launched all my nukes on my main ill switch to an alt character, launch nuke then switch back to my main as the have separate cooldowns.
