undrinkablesmoothie: I am very much looking forward to just being able to outright buy the weapon and other plans, rather than the current process of hoop jumping. Milepost Zero is just so annoyingly repetitive and grindy. And not the fun kind of grindy either.

KawaiiKate88: You can run the v63 carbine in VATS without consumables, but you have to be in power armour so you can benefit from the scanners 4 star which with 5 pieces reduces the AP cost by a further 25% that plus conducters and high agility you can totally use the weapon in VATS

HangryDiner-wo1vq: I like this weapon, was lucky enough to get one from a player vendor when it was still tradeable for 1K caps. I use it in vats, it's fine if you have some ap regen mods on your armor

Mr3ppozz: Carbine is fun to use and pretty decent... even usable in vats with number cruncher :p but it will not shoot for very long in vats xD but for people like me who have horrible aim...it works plenty well enough xD xD

SticcyBRA: since yesterday evening i'm grinding all plans that are obtainable from the skyline caravans. goes pretty good so far. also excited for the update. finally more fallout themed things in fallout, rather than stupid mascot masks and pink suits

magnusgaming9511: I built a Quad Explosive with Intelligence boost V63 and it absolutely shreds, instigating crippling does surprisingly well but the go to is definitely a Furious Explosive with relevant Onslaught Perks and Energy weapon perks equipped.

lucaelo: I manual aim the Carbine, it’s my daily driver. Never had an issue figuring out where to aim and I agree that it’s not a VATS gun.

Greg-y8t: Keep in mind that if the devs add in some VATs support, they will take something away that we would not like.
