Wiggles... we need a vid on gun-fu and adrenaline. It seems they don't work? I have noticed, though, since the update that servers seem to be running a LOT slower...and that may be the culprit?

Momofukudoodoowindu: Great weapon but begs the question. What is the role? Master Gunslinger is great for daily driving, and if you’re daily driving you want a good high damage weapon that’ll one shot most mobs. Pistols already do this essentially but require zero perk investment outside of onslaught. This allows me to have crafting/scavenging/QoL perks equipped while I knock out dailies. Neither of these weapons would I take into a raid and expect serious sustained DPS, but pistols excel at their designated role now as the ultimate daily driver at least.

Drenamow: I have used mainly only the plasma caster now for absolute ages, fell in love with it when I got it back when it came out but I've ran it with many different legendary effects throughout that time.

TheHalloumi: I've used a Caster for years and the one I carry now I have literally named 'Chill Mode' lmao. This might seem counterintuitive but, due to how slowly this weapon decays, I insist you try getting it to 150 or 200 condition and running Polished instead of Pinpointers, it works a treat for me. Explosive is also surprisingly based on this gun. Good to see it get the love it deserves for the reasons it deserves it.

COLDFIRE_0284: I feel like the caster exists in the same weird spot as the crusader pistol where the fire rate isn’t perfect for regular onslaught OR reverse. Which is cool because it means that effects like Bloodied and aristocrats still have a place in the game. Just pair them with gunslinger and guerilla perks to help make up the difference somewhat.

IndustrialFaith: I've found that non-vats/ skill shooting doesn't seem to have the weird issues with the Onslaught stacks.

francescat.torres6168: Nice! I’ve been running the plasma caster for years, it was kind of niche and it was interesting last year suddenly seeing a lot of players using it.

My current build I’ve been using is nearly the same as yours. The only annoying part is remembering to remove Gunslinger Master when I change heavy guns.

I have a question, is the extra onslaught perk card damage is worth losing maxed out Adrenaline perk card?

Kerran32: Minerva has the mods in her inventory right now, so pick them up before she leaves tomorrow! I love the Plasma Caster, on my 2nd account I basically just ran through the questline to get it and never looked back. So much fun and now even more so.

cannonrobinson5480: You can also not use the reverse gunslinger if you are fighting more mobs and more tanks stuff. For bosses regular onslaught stacks quickly with the plasma caster and you can keep your stacks at 20. During the drill, if you are defending it is extremely effective against the mole miners, you stay at 20 stacks, reload quick and do tons of damage. Ggs

Genjustice92: If you haven’t you should try out a furious E 25 pinpointers alien blaster. It’s insanely good right now since you can fire as fast as you can pull the trigger and gets the single fire weapon accuracy boost from concentrated fire. It just doesn’t miss and stacks onslaught so fast with the double hits from explosive. Ton of fun!

КонстантинЯлынычев: The stacks of onslaught actually has to do with Taking One For The Team legendary perk. Try swapping or removing it.

This legendary perk also helps to stack Onslaught quicker while it's not in reverse
