Gazbeard: Interestingly, without knowing what I was up against, at level 38 I took down the behemoth in 4 shots with a self built and upgraded .308 hunting rifle - using stealth attack for triple damage (crouching not perked) from far enough back that it didn't immediately agro on me.

wrinkleneckbass: I always use my Western Revolver for close range combat and a silenced .50 cal for long range sniping. My sniper rifle can do 1,400 damage per shot at range when I'm crouched, and I saw it doing 2,400 damage per shot against that giant wendigo at the Monongah Mine. I'm not sure why people like those auto guns that take a bunch of bullets to kill an enemy when I can do it in one shot. Now if I could just figure out how to get those 4-star legendary effects on my guns.
