Shopping Cartminecraft-im5bf: This ain't end game
preoximerianas: Sounds like a whole lot of “I won’t be doing this” content lmao.
Chris-hl5uj: This does not seem fun or rewarding. It seems like the laziest, easiest and cheapest way they can claim to be adding "content"
BobBigWheels: This seems like terrible new player experience to run into these
RudyMonster77: Seems like a clone of Head Hunts for the Appalachia map with some tweaks to make it "new". Having to cheese the boss and play peek-a-boo because of bad AI is not for me. Also, the loot is similar to Head Hunts it seems with slight changes.
I don't think this will be popular either due to the way it has to be triggered. Most people will probably just come upon these randomly and will not even be on the proper team to get help with it. Maybe trigger the infestation popup on all team types?
I hope they have not put off working a new raid to put dev time into this.
hughejasse1: They should rename it "loading screen infestation". As always I'm happy for the people that want to fast travel all over the map hoping to find these instances but I'll pass on it. They'll need to make the boss always drop a 4 star like the Bigfoot event from a few weeks ago to get any interest, at least for me; I don't need any more magazines or bobbleheads. Thanks for the video and take care.
fredd3218: Is this suppose to be the high content patch we get on summer/winter? So that's it, this is the only new thing we get?
BoS_Knight-Sigma: So we spend all of our time getting the right legendaries on our armor and speccing into damage resistance just for them to add enemies who can take you out in one shot regardless of how tanky you've made your character. Level 2,000 getting swatted like a level 20 doesn't sound fun to me.
matthewdeavers6708: With over 1300 hrs in game I still have yet to learn any mods from raids or new bounties/grunt hunts. I get it’s a grind but I think they mainly need to improve the learn chance on the mods specific to raids/ grunt hunts / bounties.
andrewsherman8574: If the damage is so high, how does reflective damage perform? (four star, aristocrats, and the perk)
ThatBugBehindYou: New players are going to be so dang confused on why they have no ammo and no rewards after randomly getting in an infestation lmao.
zubrhero5270: Heres some mental notes I took:
- If they do this much damage to Turtle in PA... This is more "no melee allowed" content.
- "Loading Screen Simulator"... If someone in my Team happens to find one, I'll join, but, I ain't looking.
- Does it play part in anything going forward, or did they just think it was a cool name?
- Coulda/Shoulda come alongside Bounties.
- Surely this took ZERO time to design, they just increased regular enemy size by about 1.2x and adjusted some numbers.
- This ain't end game.
Daniel-p9j2c: Here I thought it might have been something decent but what turtle showed us is a pain in the ass.
albertjohn8723: holy shit. the mob damage and health bar are crazy even wearing a power armor. nobody will do it if the reward is bad. cant make enough to fix armor.
Heraclitan: Is this the "mind blowing" summer update we where promised? Bruh.....
franciscobarraza1744: The approach is fine; it's supposed to encourage map exploration, not the use of FastTravel. But if it doesn't offer some exclusive reward or something unique, I don't think I'll do it.
Xion_Stellar: They should make them a Horde event similar to the one already in the game now but instead of searching 4 locations trying to look for a horde boss you instead look through 5 possible destinations trying to find the Infestation.
Losers_Club1989: So a head hunt with raid rewards?
brandonsinner6545: So in your opinion, are melee builds in infestations viable against the boss?
jenniferlyle360: The randomness is a problem. It's too hard for end-game players to find them, and may block lower level players from completing quests if the place they need to go is infested.
I think it would be better to make players go to a location to activate the quest, similar to how Headhunts work. A map of active infestations in the military wing of the Enclave, Crater Core, and/or Foundation Core that a team member can go activate would be much better.
I also think a dedicated team type for infestations is needed so players can indicate they WANT to do infestations would be good. Expecting all members of a casual team to drop everything they are doing to go to an infestation is unrealistic.
PwnzorBob: I like the idea of locations getting different factions, but maybe without the bulletsponge and 1-hit stuff.
deranemira7230: seem over tuned like it's good idea similar to map event but the one tap nature and spongy is not fun
sserbin: Now we need Orbital Strike Beacon to do like 100,000 damage to a direct hit.
tictoc677: So the only way to beat the infestation without dying is to cheese it. That's not endgame content that is just bad design not to mention the horrible experience this will be for new players trying to complete quests when this pops up
jman29x: I generally like the idea. But yes it's going to be a pain to just wander around looking for them. If there was some way that I could institute an infestation "beacon" you could earn, win as a rare drop, or by similar to bounties that may take it to the next level.
flypig698: this makes so sence, why are "raid" enemies being made part of the rgular map and game play, quests are broken as well
SourChicken1856: I just want them to finish up the Burning Springs questline bruh
