Fallout 76 PTS Infestations Bring A Lot Of Bullets

markm7411: Bethesda needs to put totally new rewards in the game which are worth it

bchuez: unfortunately i don't think infestations are going to be what we want them to be and hopefully your (as well as other's) suggestions are implemented to make them good

potatopells: Infestations are tons and tons of enemies. Everywhere!!! To Make it feel like you are getting overwhelmed. That's infestations. NOT this. But TY for showing us.

applegamer20: When I hear "infestation" I think clearing locations from hoards of enemies like a bad ass not this

potatopells: Not nearly enough enemies to call it an infestation.

notapoofyname: great, another activity I'll have to skip with my melee character

BelterKJ: Yeah, this is just going to be ignored by the majority of the server

xZOMBIECORNx: wish they would add more public events that are actually fun to play instead of these end game boss type of shit that are too hard to kill and leave you with no ammo

lbaker3602001: AMMO SPONGE

user-cz9jf1ec8s: They should have the boss drop a ️️️️ box mod with a good chance to be one of the new effects.

Not some random pos weapon/armor piece with a 1% chance to learn if you scrap it.

Robert-i9t4i: Bethesda needs to tell good stories. Hire a writer. I'll volunteer. Not everything has to be a shoot 'em up.

PlaySlough87: Dear Bethesda,

Enemies being bullet sponges & dealing a lot of damage DOES NOT make it end game content. This is lazy content from the devs & unrewarding for the player.

Nuke bosses, daily ops, expeditions, raids, headhunt are end considered (mostly) end game content all are player activated (& for good reason) but not infestations... WHY NOT!?

psycleshift: Ironically this will bleed players rather than bring them back. Especially after bounty hunts....

crazy-tommy: So two random 4 star item for all this? I'm not sure if this is worth. If it stays like that I can predict that when this pops all players will focus on the boss and then walk away ignoring the other enemies. Or even ignore infestations completely once the related challenges are done.

Bazookavich: Looks like another large group of players kind of thing/event.

rafikitheguru: This is meant for first members with 100s of thousands of ammo in their stash. Not people like me who carry all the ammo they need and drop the excess.

dtbradly: Do the devs think harder = fun

uczeg: Now imagine being level 20 or 30 running the story or exploring (as those are the players actually exploring) and coming across this. This may cause new players to stop and never come back. They should of made this an optional difficulty on daily ops then randomly around the world.

ChiRhoFTW: To me this isn’t end game content. Yeah it’s challenging but there’s no new, unique mechanics. It’s same enemies we’ve been fighting for years but with more health and damage. Plus I’m tired of having multiple levels of RNG to get what you want - first you need to roll the right effect and then it needs to either be on the weapon or armor that you want or you scrap it and hope for the best. Also, this is considered a big update? Seems like this should be able to be implemented in a week since very little of it is net new

JamesDillon-l5w: Just more boring low yield bullet sponge enemies! Give us new enemies, ones with tactics and decent reactions to our attacks. Offer us new decent rewards and slop being lazy developers.

LazarusBell: Infestation should've just been a regular public event that covered all regions of the world.

Edit: Also, I'd gladly trade this for Milepost Zero content.

TheUnsightlyRF: I don't understand Bethesda's obsession with adding more bullet sponges. I'm all for challenging late-game content, but there's no challenge in just standing there, holding M1 until the game finally tells you to stop.

Edit: also, while I appreciate that they added a radius marker to show where the infestation is taking place, they better give you the option to turn off the obnoxiously large green circle, because it's gonna clutter up the map so much.

potatopells: THIS is extremely frustrating

Blade-UK: Wonder how anti-armour effect would do.

BC4885: They should rework daily ops or expeditions, make them end-game, not this.

paulhicks8982: Now there are big markers on the map it means that I will be able to avoid the infestations. But also means there will be large areas of the map I will not be entering limiting the map for me.

CrowfatherKantus: I rlly dont want 2 play this content
