joshpalmer7118: These were not fun a all from what I did. The first 3 was something different then really boring like horde events. Idk how they thought this was a good idea for content lol. Plus the rewards were meh.

H0P5: I did thousands of hours, but dropped out maybe about 3 years ago. Figured I'd return when the native PS5 was released. Still waiting

jidadt3645: Been doing Headhunts for a while now, 100’s of them in, learned a few of the 4’s, still no Glowing even though I have hoarded those for big scrapping parties. The RnG approach to learning the 4’ is tedious for no reason, especially when some 4’s are very easy to learn.

These Infestations should have rare drops added that augment the ability to learn 4’s (or any legaendary mod). Consumable drops, it gives you 10% chance to learn the next item you scrap where there is a mod you don’t know, you can pop up to 10 of these consumables to get 100% chance to learn a legendary effect, there is a 1 minute timer to the effect and it dispels once you learn a new legendary (so you can try multiple times until you either learn it or the timer runs out).

Make these non-tradable, and any legendary that you learn using this method makes that legendary non-tradable when you craft a mod box. Stops the issue with duping/exploits and turns this into a per-character benefit.

bartvanotterdijk8937: The potential you describe is very interesting. I was (still am) sceptical about infestations the way they are implemented. Imo the rewards are just not good enough to make up for the grinding. However, if Bethesda would build upon this and expand the idea this could work. For instance adding double mutations to these as well. It would transform infestation to some kind of open world version of daily ops? They still need to up the rewards though. Maybe some unused NW plans? If it stays like this with just consumables people will stop doing them. You can’t show off your grind with those.

Thank you for your view on them, you helped me looking past this initial idea. Let’s just hope it doesn’t end here.

Robert-Smith-2013: never thought of it that way. it will be a very different way of navigating the map thats for sure. stop shitting on the game people. for those of you thats sat on the game so long and steady that your gonna go one tap 5 infestations in a row like washing the windows on a car, yeah, do that, go outside and wash the windows on your car. ty for the positive post on the game

Meanwhile, this is going to get old quite quickly.

Maybe I'm weird, but farming legendaries isn't that hard now.......just maybe a bit more work, but there are plenty of events to do so. Is this necessary? No. I admit, I'm no fan of this crafting legendary gear to begin with....it removes the special from them & the excitement of finding a really good item....and sadly makes the game more boring.

I see myself getting more annoyed than having "fun" & quitting until the event is over. smh
