On PC, we have a "Bait Storage ESP" mod that highlights refrigerators and coolers in a blue color, even through walls, making them extremely easy to find.

As well as ways to make improved bait from fish you catch, since some bait is made from fish guts. It's CHUM!!!

Thus giving players reason to fish, the more you fish, the more bait you can craft, etc.

Techtronic-es3ct: One of the daily quests was for pre war food. Last night, I equipped the Can Do perk card and started looting. I noticed one of the blue coolers had improved bait in it! I just figured it was random luck. Then I saw your video and I thought is he about to tell me to equip Can Do? You took it a step further and I really appreciate the details on where to go and how to reset it. Thanks!

retrorichmond999: Thanks great tip, I like the fishing aspect. I no a lot of people complain and the bugs are an issue but the game has so much to do now. A few more events would be nice & another raid but I love the game. Your channel is great.

brandonclement8436: Fastest way for improved bait is to start a fresh character and do the fishing quest. Than do the daily fishing one and drop the items in your private world and pick them up on your main. Rinse and repeat. It takes about 15 minutes for 10 improved bait and you don’t have to pick anything up. It can also give you the plans for the rod upgrades

misterbadass2089: Another place you can stop before resetting the spawns in Riverside is Summersville Docks. There's 5 blue coolers there. 2 on the north side and 3 on the south, 2 in one building, and the other on the pier behind a locked door.

AlienArtSchool: My issue is you have 62 improved but how much of that goes to common fish catches? How many oil cans/ handcuffs do you catch? Half of that gets wasted on lesser fish. The point I’m making; bait should guarantee types of fish at certain levels. Ex: Common bait catches fish 1-10. Improved is 11-15 level fish and superb are 16-20 level (including legendary or whatever). I hate using my improved bait only to catch a fucking Redbelly. JFC.

jakethesnake5828: If you have FO1st…make a new character. Head straight to Fisherman’s Rest. Do the quest and daily. Give the Improved Bait and plans to your main on private server. Rinse and repeat. Takes 20 minutes. 30 improved per hour and chance to learn all the mods for the fishing rod.

PolloSenseii: Canned Goods does nothing for bait.. it's for Canned Coffee, which is a great way to farm it.. but wouldn't want to pick up the coffee if no bait since youd have to reset that spawn without getting the bait... 260 items to reset item list..
