paulgratton-dd6ui: Ive only seen it happen once, and they both spawned at the same location . Right behind the tree,by the wrecked vehicle. It spawned after the first one was taken out ! Thanks for the update !

adrienneh5083: I had this happen to me, but the legendary did manage to drop a mask, and only a mask, despite not damaging it.

NomadicMoth: Yes i have seen this. I Hate the fact if you dont tag the boss or are to far away you dont get a mask. And the bosses are far to weak.

scottshep8978: One time they spawned at different locations. One behind the tree(legendary) and behind the building where the candle maker is(non legendary). But the one behind the building took like a full minute before it spawned. The event didn't finish until that one spawned in and got killed.

LilithNova: why would that effect me you don't even have to hit the boss. Now what I have found is the body is still there with very little junk loot while a pile of ash will be near him that has the real loot and mask

thexmanone: You don't need too tag too get the mask. Loot will still be there.

pinkfloydvk: Yes. I was late getting online after shopping i went into public and it happened to me i here a 2nd mega Slough cry out but i couldn't get it in time. I Normally have 2 xboxes on 1 in private i with everything on me to give to the robots and wait counter to go's down to 1 minutes to start it and I'm doing 1 public i get 3 chances to get something good i will message my friends to join me when i start my private 1 up so they can get a 2nd 1 too.

PitFriend1: Ran into that once. Saw a mega sloth spawn up in the trees across from the bonfire. Was confused why VATS wouldn’t lock onto the “boss” until I noticed that like most mega sloths you find it was neither legendary or hostile. Turned around and saw the real boss down the street and got a shot into it so I still got the mask and stuff. Now if only I could get any mask besides the common ones I’ll be happy.

thedow911: I have seen it happen a few times now, the way I deal with it is by getting on top of the roof of the post office and tagging end game bosses

richarddan100: happened twice to me. also sometimes the other spawns somewhere far and then you can't light the bonefire until you find it and kill it.

Samhain2000: If you're in the event and in the vicinity of the 3* boss when its killed, you ate able to loot the boss. I had two sloths spawn, yesterday I did not shoot either.Man was still able to loot the three star boss.

marshkoala: Yes it happened to me but the legendary one spawned by the tree and the normal one spawned by the garage. Thankfully I got a mask by checking both and it helps that the legendary glows when dead.

richiegixer: Another thing, I fast traveled to the event after it finished to join my team, I was still able to pick up my rewards

hughejasse1: I've been seeing the second sloth quite a bit now but it's not always tagged in as an enemy. It usually spawns near the first one by the wrecked vehicle across from the church but has also spawned slightly more up the hill. It's also spawned near the barn. I am shocked, shocked I tells ya, that there's a bug like this in the game. Ok, not actually that shocked. Thanks for the video and take care.
