Wolfnstone: Awesome video man. This is a game changer
aussie_kitty_kat: Not gonna lie - I’m not really looking forward to it. Yes I’ll save budget with not having to use mats and targets, and yeah, I’ll finally be able to free place porch railings but I have a feeling ‘free placing’ is just going to bring a whole new set of ‘challenges’ and frustrations (and I do love the ‘pixel perfectness’ of a good blueprint.)
nukacolanut6095: "A child that makes Nike shoes." I was rolling!!
3Ggaming589: This is going to help so many people that struggle with learning the difficult techniques and wizardry.
Jakenh84: Oh I’m hyped for this one!
Unfa1r: We've come a very long way from the days of Bethesda trying to patch out the ways people could make floating camps.
Interestinglyserious: Thank you for making great fallout 76 content. Your hard work and dedication is much appreciated. Continue the fantastic work .
summit_sayem: We need some additional elementary pieces like half, triangular, octagonal foundations & full-height half-width walls.
italianhippie: That's awesome
RADRUX: I have mixed feelings about the building limitations being loosened. Creativity comes from challenge. I think you’ve said something like this yourself. But I will say if the loosened restrictions becomes the norm, all the builders getting put on notice. If you don’t know what that means, you’re gonna find out. Lol
Wolfnstone: Wait, what??! Ooh. I might have to get back in
elel9640: Jfc... they relax building restrictions and take away merges?? The devs are completely out of touch
Funkles: Oh man, this is gonna be a boon for everyone.
I know placement restrictions are what filters many people when it comes to making a camp. Good for me too as I'm building my Ghoul's lakeside cabin
tishmusso3949: Gee, I never got around to learning most of the advanced techniques (I find simple merging to be a challenge!). It's kind of sad that they may soon be obsolete...but hopefully building will be more fun. Thanks for the preview!
rubyfalloutbuilds: I think the change is a good thing but I can see why some people may not like it. I’m excited though and I think this is a good thing for everyone as it opens up so many possibilities.
dazzmead: These relaxed building rules are going to be so amazing! I know most of the tricks but some of them are so time consuming and budget heavy to pull off. I've had an idea for a video using displays, I use them in most builds and I think they could be utilised even more so now, I'm a little anxious about talking in a video though! (Any advice!?)
CyberJester00: Very informative Moon. With all of your experience and knowledge, do you think the relaxed building will make camps less creative and unique?
scoundrl.: I hope they add the ability to lean and rotate floor/wall items in all directions.
lisap9592: Thanks Moonlight! Lol, I see what u meant about a work around for the “Flying Fortress”. It’s great that they’re giving us relaxed building and the ability to float things, but what about Simple Merging (Like your tiny light/plant example.)
Does this actually mean we won’t be able to do those anymore? Do u know yet if we will be able to ‘free place’ them or have to find a new and/or complicated work around for these? Lol, I’ve only just gotten a hang of them
lordofsmeg101: I love the idea of this however to be honest I would just rather have the ability to purchase more camp slots than the 10 that we can have now
ConfusioNIntrusioN: about time they loosened those restrictions, should have been a thing from day one.
now we just need a higher build budget, like twice as much or something like that
bugman67Y: I've always wanted to place a certain prefab underground. The treehouse one. I wonder if it's possible now so the top sticks through the ground, so it looks like a little wooden shack.
matmatat4242: Did you mean the symptomatic won't work to get underground anymore ?
Or is that because of not being able to use the pressure plate to merge it down?
H0lz0nk3l: The only thing that bugs me about this - massively - is that merging doesn't work. I am using object merging a lot.
