RobZadouch: I've been maining the Handmade (Bloodied/Explosive/Reload) for the majority of my 3200 hours. I keep a Vampires Chainsaw as my offhand for SBQ/Earl/Etc. Fixer does slightly outperform Handmade, but I prefer the way the Handmade feels in use, and I have way cooler paints for it vs Fixer, lol

biostemm: You can do the ally "Cmdr Daguerre"'s mini-quest to get a legendary alien blaster "The VATS Unknown"...

neilusdin2389: My Two Shot Poison crossbow with the explosive legendary effect and the Vipers 4 star mod using Hat Trick and demolitions expert serves me VERY well.

Saintbow: You should of mentioned the new information about the Perfect Storm. With the new update/patch that is inbound, the Perfect Storm will be gaining three stars and will be moddable. This was stated in the test server notes.

biostemm: Regarding the Fixer - it shares mod unlocks with the combat rifle - it's been a while, but I used to farm the scorched in The Top of The World interior for them, to scrap to unlock the mods...

artinotsoparty: Doing quests for weapons when you arent max level will lock you out of getting them with max stats so you should do these quests once you hit max level.

strachansmall4885: Nice take on content, I have all the weapons except Civil Unrest (have played for several years) but did not know about getting some of these so easily.

I swap between an Anchorage Ace and Fixer for normal targets and a Gatling Gun for heavy work.

jackwelch1000: One gun I’ve found really good and no one talks about , pirate punch (reward from eviction notice)

With a reverse onslaught build maxed out you can hit critical shots on weak points that do 8k damage per projectile , it’s my boss melter I use when running plasma caster

ErevusShadeWalker: most of those weapons are useless AF ,not to mention that with the legendary crafting nowdays u can add most of those effects yourself... sooo yeah... rewards from some events are WAAAY better ( holy fire , elders' mark etc) also Secret ? Really ??? lol...

loschain2224: 1, id wait for the next major patch to do these as some things are changing with some of the named weapons and armor from side quests.

2. Alien blaster should not be in here as since invaders from beyond it can be crafted along with adding magazine mods. Check player vendors for plans since rewards from Invaders can be.... unkind to some.

PizzaTime727: I dunno if new players need to hold off on these, bec I read somewhere that they are buffed next patch. And so far I know you can't get them twice.

SabastianCrow: I just started playing early in December. I scrapped so many good weapons thinking I would learn the perks from them.

Toeknuckle39: The only two weapons you need right now cause of the latest update the holy fire for close combat and elders Mark for distance both can be gotten at a low chance in the bog event called beast of burden
