Shopping Carttalvez_priest_wow3720: if Fallout 1st didn't exist, Fallout 76 would have being shutdown a long time ago. That's the reality, love it or hate it.
isthattrue1083: You also get exclusive stuff and you get a private server, 1650 atoms a month, etc.
chris5942: I wouldn't be playing FO76 without FO1st.
chadbertrand1460: The carry limit is exasperated by the daily selling cap.
whitethanatos623: I have fallout 1st and my stash box is still full.
Sheffdawg2305: I get what you're trying to get at but you're not paying for only the scrapbox. You also get exclusive monthly items, exclusive items for the season, 1650 atoms, the scrap box, the ammo box, and random free items. Also it's not unlimited storage; I mean it is for scrap but not for everything else. I'm sure thousands of players with the scrapbox still have to clean out their storage every day due to it being full. I've played plenty of games that had a monthly subscription and not only is this one the best it's also optional unlike other games where you need to pay to play.
elijahscarboro6: Literally can’t play without it so absolutely yes and still currently use it
0muskett0: If I ever come back to the game I'll have enough scrap for 20 years.
MrDieselfrost: I propose everyone gets the scrapbox. In return Fallout 1st players get triple the stash box space.
Syisulis: What kills me is it's a video game. There is no actual weight to anything
aeronmb: This concept is neither new nor revolutionary. Value, much like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder. If it's worth it to you, great. If it's not, then it's not. Easy. A low monthly cost for 'entertainment' is quite reasonable these days, especially considering expensive coffee, meals delivered to your door, $1000 cell phones, or whatever else we blow our money on.
I get that content creators need to make content, but with all respect, this video seems a little cringe at this point in the game (no pun intended).
Here's one for the algorithm.
baypos: I let my annual FO1 expire and it sucked weight management and trying to complete dailies on a public server.
So I renewed again.
But I'm considering srop playing as they keep nerfing and making grinding harder. I'm a casual and don't need it harder to play.
jimbog4873: The Fallout 1st scrap box is a copy, in essence, of the ESO craft bag in Elder Scrolls Online...in fact, one could say Fallout 1st came about because of ESO !!! In the Bethesda Todd Howard era, Elder Scrolls & Fallout series have been close cousins...this relationship carried over to their online games (many Fallout 76 changes since its launch were influenced by ESO, including Fallout 1st)!
dix_neuf: Without scapbox, you spend the time between events managing your inventory. It got really bad that i had to turn on fallout 1st for a month and loaded up my box with scrap from anything not bolted down. Its been a couple months since and i dont miss dealing with the inventory management.
futurepig: I had Fallout 1st for a while only because a few cosmetic items were only avaliable for subscribers. I didn't find the scap box was necessary. I rarely need too much of any crafting materials, I keep dropping excess junk in donation boxes all the time, or bulking and selling if I need caps.
Triglide103: Dont forget bethesda like any game developers have to make money somehow charging for fallout 1st is how they make it plus as a fallout 1st subscriber it's good to be able help.out non subscribers with thecstuff i can store
toxicavenger9753: Players that don't have it are the ones who hate it. I love it.
Quentino808: The scrap box should be for everyone and keep the ammo locker, aid kit and food cooler for the subscription. People really only sub to fallout 1st for the scrap box
michaellee4887: If you don't like paying for fall at first, just make freaking four mules and then you have unlimited stash box on four characters
watchmanofearth259: Unlimited storage is good, especially for chems, scrap and ammo we need Unlimited weapons storage in it as well
Bob_Cratchit: I wouldn't play ESO or FO76 without the crafting bag / scrap box. To me, the convenience and perks of the subscription are definitely worth it as a packrat.
As to the gaming community, the element that complains will always complain. You could eliminate the paid model altogether and they'd still find a reason. When the servers went down permanently because the game generated no revenue, they'd move on to the next game to be jaded about something there.
dorobooya4721: From a dev standpoint, if unlimited storage was a default thing it may create server issues. Putting it behind a paywall will probably limit the number of ppl with unlimited scrap storage on a particular server at the same time. I could be completely wrong here.
perceivedvelocity9914: I hate Fallout First and I love Fallout 76. Bethesda has locked basic gameplay features behind a paywall. At this point I sign up for 3 or 4 months of Fallout First every year. I subscribe if I like the rewards in a season. I don't feel like Fallout first is valuable the rest of the year.
SergeLynx89: Now they added the medical storage( wish we could deposit serums in there too) but it saves me well over 100 lbs of meds and 2 perk card slots.
Game-Bud: I dunno.....I think it would suck if it wasn't available...at least I can store the scrap during Fallout 1st trials and use the scraps all year long... I'd rather that than to have to store it ALL in storage.
CodeWarrior01: Get fallout 1st for one month a year, just after a new season. Get lots of stuff in the 2 weeks it takes to reach level 100 on scoreboard, then can access the stuff afterwords. Med box and ammo box too.
damnsurfer522: I have never paid for FO1st and I probably have more junk stored in mine then most players that pay for it.
