Could We Soon See A NEW Version Of Fallout 76....

BuenoMcgurski: As long as I can keep my inventory and character progress, yes please

bricriu: Oblivion Remastered has severe optimization issues. A new engine isn't going to magically fix the hundreds of bugs that have been fo76 since launch.

bazkrobinson8313: 76 Just keeps getting better and better

gflgs: What a coincidence that i crashed 3 times in an hour today and this was the first F76 recommended video^^

FreezeFrameYT: Im still hoping for the return of Nuclear Winter

Johnny369Patriot: A new engine is exactly what Fallout 76 needs.

Yes, rebuilding the game entirely sounds huge but trying to keep porting assets into a patched up, outdated engine built for single player games is worse.

Modern devs are stuck wrestling with layers of messy, outdated code written by different people over decades. It’s a miracle anything runs at all. A clean slate rebuild especially if handled exclusively by Double Eleven would make future bug fixing and optimization way more manageable. Not to mention creation would be a breeze, they could crunch the the current schedule by a month, they are using an old forgotten way of coding or something to create new content , hair pulling one of the dev described years ago I think it was the old creative director Jeff Gardiner, 76 chewed him up and forced him to quit and move on. This is foreshadowing to why Bethesda sucks today.

Bethesda was ahead of the curve back in the Oblivion days. Now they’re dragging behind, bloated by corporate red tape and blinded by mainstream success. The refusal to make the right call to finally move to a new engine is holding everything back. Todd is a cheap

MajorGlory90s: I am excited thinking about what this could do to better Fallout 76 let’s not all jump on the hate train let’s see what happens guys

SteelCourage: New version sounds nice but gonna need more ways to get 4* star weapons then just the stupid raids and yes I don’t mind paying for them cause that sure beats having to do the raids .

EZEfallout: I could imagine an offline version of 76 with a settlement system, similar to fallout 4, but im just an old fart who' loves fallout 4

ThatGuy-u7h: Nice

donquixote2206: Bethesda won’t transition 76 to a new Engine. They might release a new client to run the current engine; FO4 got a Next Gen upgrade, 76 hasn’t. That’s the low hanging fruit. Same Creation Engine used on PCs for FO4, just ported to run better on newer hardware without killing the server communication layer.

The only other viable option for Bethesda is to launch a whole new FO MMO based on a networked version of Starfield’s Engine, Creation Engine 2. They won’t buy a different mmo engine from someone else, and pay devs to build a new version of the old game from scratch, there’s no way to recoup the costs. The core business model of Bethesda right now is the Creation Club/Atom Shop built into Creation Engines 1&2.

richardzeiders5496: Just so long as Bethesda doesn't screw up PC play, make us all start over by leaving Vault 76, & charge us more to play.

Captain_Char: if it changes engines, it will just be using the starfield testbed engine, cause come on, starfield was just a big test bed for the newer version, id rather they stick with the same style engine then use unreal bloated engine

Content_Enjoyer_420: My only concern with the new engine is: what would happen to current QoL glitches that we currently use? What would happen to certain camp glitches like underground/floating camps? There's a lot of shit that veteran players use regularly, like photomode glitching to run silos or gaining access to certain areas to explore the map further? I'd love to see the game run a whole lot better, dont get me wrong, but if glitches that are extremely beneficial to players get patched with the new engine, I feel like the community for the game is going to take a massive hit. That impacts all players regardless of how long you've played and what platform you're on. There is a very large community in this game that is dedicated to finding glitches that bugthesda hasnt found. If anything, a majority of players just enjoy being Quality Testers in the game (I, of course, have my Prefix/Suffix set to: "Fallout Quality Tester" for that reason) and if they take that aspect of the game out, then what's the point of playing? PC players won't be impacted as much since players can just migrate to the PTS, but console players would just be SoL, and they'd have to find something new to do in the game. I know many players already who didn't like the direction bugthesda was taking the game and already left. Many of those players just emptied out their accounts to friends or new players so that they'd have no reason to come back to the game. I've been trying to push many of my old diehard Fallout buddies to come back to the game because there's more content to play and improvements made to the game, but a lot of them have no desire to come back at all. It's absolutely heartbreaking, and I would hate to see the game take a massive hit to the playerbase like that, and I worry that I myself might get fed up and leave the game altogether. I've played the game for years on a lvl 865 character and have amassed so much loot and experience that the game is at the very end stage for me. I have just about every base-game plan, food recipe, legendary mod recipe, and just about anything else you can craft. I've been a subscriber to 1st for almost that entire duration since the benefits were solid, and I wanted the game to keep doing well. If I'm not playing the game, and neither are many of the playerbase, they lose all of that revenue because who's gonna pay for 1st when you dont even play? Most players won't even play without having 1st because the perks are just too good. I feel like that's the reason they won't pull the trigger on a new engine. If anything, they'll probably work on updating the existing engine with the newer engine's code, and that'll be the state of the game while trying to add new content. It's bugthesda, I expect there to be bugs. Its not just Fallout 76, but just about every one of their games. I hate to say it, but if you dont like the bugs, don't play the game. You cant take the good bugs without accepting the bad. The thing I like about the 76 team is that they are fairly quick to fix certain bugs. It can be a curse, though, because they're also quick to fix the ones that put players at a huge advantage.

aliwamboldt3661: I want to be excited for big updates and/or upgrades but it's hard to get truly excited when I crash every hour.

YouTube_Is_Ran_By_Marxists: As long as no one that worked on Starfield or Emil Pagliarulo touches it.

Noonecares10021: As an aside, skyline valley is a lot brighter, like daylight bright versus that spooky red. Was that intentional? I love it.

Bearded.Wandererr: Axolotl is a passive aquatic mob in minecraft damn microsoft is very creative

NMKatlarge: This is a game that locks up if you click too fast on the starting screens, that has random sound glitches that crash the game,…. Sigh

jamesbass4154: Unless they are giving me a new state to adventure in and I am not talking about a operation or its like I have no interest in what they do. After 1500 hours I know every blade of grass in West Virginia and have no interest in playing the game anymore.
