2kool4rock: I'm not gonna lie this whole fishing "update" looks boring as hell and a huge waste of time I just wish Bethesda would spend more time fleshing out the stories they've already added and commit to continuing them sooner rather than later as it seems like they've opted for quantity instead of quality. Mile post zero for example is still incomplete because they haven't added the last two vendors, then there's Hugo's fate if you spared him and I thought there would be more to vault 63 since there's a bunch of sealed off areas left to explore, the gleaming depths had barely any lore behind it which was relegated to one note which I wish was shown in game rather than written and it's missable too, the ghoul update questline was the worst offender in my book since it was so short and it just abruptly stops if you aren't willing to go through with the transformation which seems like bad game design to me.

scott.M.060: i like that Beth is adding a fishing mechanic. cool idea IMO.

the Good seems to be:

- sell fish for caps

- get XP

- get some decos

- i like that fish bits can be used in recipes. cool addition, i think.

what i'm NOT liking though....:

- atoms for superb bait seems shady.

- the mechanic itself seems really rudimentary. valheim, and even Stardew valley have more engaging challenging fishing mechanics than what's seen here. i hope it gets more fleshed out by the time it launches.

MeekoTruhart: If your camp includes an area of water, you can activate various different weather stations to improve your chances at catching fish available only in that particular type of weather… i.e. clear, lightning, snow, etc…
