GremlinSciences: Being able to solo the snake doesn't necessarily mean you can solo everything else in the raid, EN-06 right at the start can prove that wrong. You can take as long as you want with the snake as long as you can keep tanking and healing, same with the other stages, but EN-06 is a DPS check that can fail you out right at the start even if you could solo the rest of the raid; you can take as long as you want to bring down the shield, but then you only have ~1 minute to actually deal damage before the overheat kills you, you do get 4 chances for a total of 4 minutes to wipe out EN-06's health, but the entire fight gets harder with every quarter you shave off and you're toast if you can't finish the fight in the first 4 cycles.

BTW, it is much easier to get the mutations you want by doing the Enclave quest-line so you can craft the serums for each mutation. If you're using radiation to acquire mutations then it's pure luck which ones you get and pure luck which ones get removed by radaway when you're trying to clear unwanted effects, plus you can only get 1 mutation per server that way, so you'll need to constantly hop servers a ton. If you don't want to do the Enclave quests, or don't want to farm the caps to buy the serum recipes, you can also buy the serums from player venders or receive them as loot from the raid. (you can also receive them as loot from mutated party packs, but I'm not sure if that requires you to know the recipe)

gregorybrazell5133: Honestly, having only done the raid a couple times in a group... the Snake was pretty easy compared to the EN06- unless you have someone who can mow it down in one go. The REAL difficult part is the drill. The miners who can one-shot you? That nullifies any and all perks you bring to the raid, they are equalizers. You need to have the ability to run as fast as you can, with enough AP to fuel running for a long time, need to know exactly where the fuel cannisters are, and either have a ton of (RL) luck or amazing levels of coordination with your teammates.

If you don't have the coordination, and you aren't very lucky... you get situations like I ran into. Being new to the raid, I had no idea of pretty much anything. So, kept dying to the miners. I wanted to stay at the drill and at least contribute SOME to protecting the drill (with a guy who was pretty stout). I was running a crossbow build, and need stealth to maximize my damage, so wanted to hide on top of the bars above the drill where nothing could reach me, and I could reasonably stay in stealth. But, they kept pushing me out to go run around and find fuel.

The last time we failed, before I was kicked from the group, I was running around, and doing reasonably well. But, ran into a miner, turned, ran the other way, only made it a very short distance, though, as my other teammate in the tunnels ran across my path trailing a miner behind. It turned down MY tunnel. Now, I had one behind, one in front. Nowhere to go. I died because of being a newb to the raid, and having teammates with piss-poor organization.

That single phase is what makes the raid really difficult. The snake? Not so much, really. EN06? Pretty difficult. The snake is pretty much a 'meet'n'beat' raid fight in comparison, from what little I have seen. I managed to not go down at all in that fight, even on my first time fighting it.
