Super_Tall_Dwarf: 100% on point. Great universe, we really had a great year in terms of new mechanics, items and area. The community is legendary for being one of the most friendly. Unfortunately the monetisation, fomo induction and overwhelming grind to get something valuable each and every season is very frustrating.

I still think we can hope for improvements. There’s huge amount of ppl interested in the franchise because of the series and good (not the best though) stories they introduce with each update. And with greater interest the playerbase voice their opinions louder.

At least I hope so. BETHESDA START WITH THE BUDLE PICS AND DESCRIPTIONS FOR F SAKE.

biostemm: The required disguise mechanic for ghouls is a huge deterrent to playing one, IMHO; The only faction that should require it is the BoS, otherwise all other groups are clearly accepting of them...

jvazacas: You are not wrong. I get Bethesda wants to do things to attract new players, but it should never be at the expense of your original player base. The way they changed the scoreboard to seasons was when they started to lose me. It seems like almost every decision they make now pushes me further and further toward moving on. Great video.

ManyGhosts: The reason they keep doing the predatory monetization stuff is because they aren't being held accountable by players. We complain and complain, but until action is taken - legal action, maybe some protests such as a game blackout weekend, "buy no atoms month" or even just organized petitioning from the playerbase and a push to publicize those actions - something tangible they can't ignore, that makes it to the media at a time when the show is bringing in new players... this stuff is never going to change.

We'd all love to see something like this happen, but no one steps up to make it happen. I'm guilty of it myself. Maybe people don't have time, resources or energy to take it on, maybe people fear retaliation or banning from the game, maybe they just don't have any ideas or fear that they will stick their neck out and the playerbase won't have their back and support it. But until this sort of thing is organized and executed, nothing will change.

As someone with 2k hours, who's wanted legates armor from the start and has come back to nothing worth returning to, its a massive smack in the face yet again
