eb9782: I literally can't believe they've been working on this for multiple years and it's just the basic "more damage" slider that Bethesda has used for "difficulty" since the 20th century.
Deinareia: I hope to be able to use this for quests. For now, I stand around letting my companion tickle the boss to death just so I could hear all the dialogue and see all the mechanics. My worry is, other players (yes I know, mmo,...) - even in older content sometimes I have to wait a while for others to run by so that I could get this experience from the quest bosses. So now, if I try to get a challenge, will another player in adventure mode sneeze nearby and kill the boss anyway?
i_am_geopi: Calling it optional character nerf would be more fitting, the difficulty did not go up, we just get weaker.

R-E-D-U: They need to make all bosses give a much bigger bonus to xp and gold, if vestige can make a boss take x6 or more longer than the base difficulty then the benefits should reflect that, perhaps even double boss drops or something. I get smaller amounts for normal mobs because or aoe farming and they can still die pretty fast, but for bosses i think they should have an even bigger bonus, it just doesn't seem worth it from a reward standpoint at the moment. It would actually be pretty cool for it to be a viable gold farm for optimized groups going around on vestige burning overland world bosses, the game would feel more alive.

bugg6597: They said we got more rewards for playing on higher difficulties, otherwise everyone will still just play on the easiest for the fastest gear, craft and xp acquisition. So the question is, do we actually get more rewards? Is the juice worth the squeeze? I don’t think any of this is worth the effort, not on our part, and this doesn’t look worth zeni max’s effort either. Many games provide rewards that are only earned on higher difficulty and that’s what people expect here. Otherwise, not much of a point, especially if you’re on hard while the guy next to you is on easy. This system already needs a 2.0 and it’s not out

tracylamb2971: Thank you for the vid... I'm thrilled that they upped the difficulty, when I tried it on PTS , I went to different places and the Troll in Deshan, but didn't notice a huge difference until Vestige. I had given my feedback, but I never know if they listened.
I had a blast on Vestige. When in the mood, I love seriously difficult gameplay.

Kritique: yea i won’t be indulging in this. but fair play to the people that do. i just feel like the whole purpose for grinding and playing is to become stronger so it makes no sense to optionally make myself weaker for not much reward. but i get that some people wanted this.

thegigahebrew3154: I feel like no one aside from group champion point farmers would play on Vestige difficulty. Feels like it should have another line of bonuses like all gear drops are gold or something like one or two extra gear drops or achievement collectibles.
