KDWagner: After experiencing ESO's version of a season pass, I would definitely prefer if they went back to chapter releases. I am curious to see whether they will do that, or if they don't, what the next season looks like in terms of content and release schedule. The Worm Cult Season was essentially a more bare-bones version of a chapter in terms of the release schedule and content (one part released in spring, the other in fall, one new trial, one new system of subclassing).

patrickl1449: I don’t think they have an option other than going back to what is known and what has worked in the past. I think you’re right that they’ll focus on Skyrim but I’m predicting they may go full blown Eastern Skyrim. Numbers are low and player opinions about the game are not the best at the moment. I love the game still but can’t play more than 30 minutes until I get bored. I wish it wasn’t so. If the game keeps going the way it is, I don’t think it will last more than 5 more years. I hope that I’m wrong.

thecatsmeow315: I think the Eastern Solstice epilogue quest about Darien gives a very strong suggestion that the spirit of Umaril the Unfeathered is trying to claw its way out from within him. I didnt know about their statements regarding the Dark Brotherhood, but I definitely believe that Umaril / the Knights of the Nine DLC as well as the Shivvering Isles DLC could be getting a nod by being blended in a story (Darien going mad / split personalities / Sheogorath vs. Meridia, idk). Might be an interesting thing if they try to marry references to all three modern games by hosting such a story in a location like Solstheim? But thats all pretty wild speculation on my part, lol.

bexplosion: There are many reasons a new class is very unlikely: The team have been heavily reduced and fixing subclass/identity while introducing a new class will involve too many complications like conflicting features. Also balancing would be extra difficult.

Trigarta: Introducing a new class while reworking all the others would be insane and not in a good way. This whole rework will probably take at least 2 years. I want them to get this right and not open up a new construction site that would distract them from properly reworking the classes.
