Samael3113: After 2 years off, that could make me come back to finally achieve the peak : Nightblade Necromancer Vampire
Fiksikorn: As someone who only plays 1 character I am very happy this is coming so I can try other lines =)
maltemoj: 11 years after release is 'wild', as those young people would say.
Małach-p5b: That’s excellent, now my sorcerer won’t be as boring anymore. This might be the best addition so far for making it feel more like an Elder Scrolls rpg
KalaamNozalys: Full spellsword build is getting closer and closer
ishiblack7497: Hear me out: Vampire healing Necro with Dragonknight and Arcanist Tank skills
Suds_da_Boi: Give the combat an update and I'll play again
kaioruschel: R.I.P class identity
SuperDragonBlader: Remember the Breton Hero from the cinematic trailers? Everyone thought he was a Nightblade with the way he fights. But when the Elsweyr trailer came, we saw him use Necromancy and transformed into a Bone Goliath.
Translation; Subclassing was FORESHADOWED.
TallionWhittfieldIII: Y'all guys just can't silently drop this I'm just about to get back into this game
Nymunariya: I'll keep waiting for an unarmed class/weapon skill ...
ЯрославСуський: Zero balance, dead pure classes. In the best case scenario, there will be no more than 10 combinations all others just a garbage. Thank you...
CErra310: Class identity is dead
gorynych88: Still not a single word of feedback at official forums to all the PTS testers and to all the people that point at the critical flaws of this system, as a result: broken PvP and dead "pure" classes after all the nerfes they had for the sake of this system. And final death of effective builds diversity ofc.
And this video now.
ZOS should at least just release calm this broken massacre after all the things people discussed there and here, if they don't want to listen to most of their playerbase as usual. This video after ignoring all the customers opinions is just like last spit in the face I swear.
R.I.P. TESO. Sad story but what to do.
G1ggl3z: So Necromancers will finally be able to be a summoner with subclassing when they should've been able to from the start.
khayree7929: You guys really showed bone colossus using Templar skills like it was supposed to be cool…
06burhan: Ok ok I had never thought of Sorc-Knight.
Kerihat: After this PVP will be finally dead. Why ZOS so hate PVPers?
Deehvad: Unfortunately, this will have no actual gameplay impact for 90% of the activities. It will be purely cosmetic.
If you're a pvp'er, maybe. Or perhaps even for trials. Everything else - dungeons, delves, questing, open world exploration... everything dies when you sneeze on it, so whether your pixels are blue goo from a Necromancer or red fire from a sorc will be irrelevant. Just a different cosmetic flavour for when you just auto-melt everything in your path.
This game needs a hard mode ASAP.
morsynica: I am not one bit exited about this update. The pure class system was iconic and enjoyable since the very begining of The Elder scrolls online. The combination of mezmerizing alive world and the original classes was what hooked me with the game for 8 years. I started with magicka dragon knight who will be my eternal unchanged main and later tried every other class in stamina, magicka, healer or tank callings.
Why I am disappointed?
Homogenization of classes feels artificial and lacks of character. We already had this experience through offline TES series, where you can be the leader of fighter guild, mages guild, the Gray Fox, and the best assassin alive (or dead if you're a vampire). And same goes for abilities and usage of armor. It was great for single player game, but the online world full of such jacks-of-all-trades... Sounds like Sheogorath decided to invade Nirn instead of Molag Bal. We have seen The Shivering Isles in TES IV: Oblivion, and they were much more sane than that concept...
Also I can't agree with the statement "you can be anything you want". No, I can't be my old favourite magicka dk, which could do solo almost any hard open world content (without companions) and some group one. With gear/skill tweaks I could play decently in trials and vets. PvP was also enjoyable. PURE magicka dk felt amazing even after all those years and set/skills rebalance. I loved racio dragon knight skills to weapon and world ones. After the update and the nerf of the pure class callings this so called subclassing will leave my main crippled, unable to excell at anything which was bee's knees before.
fansite324: Awesome Cant wait to see the future of this Game. Been playing 10 years and love the content. People will always complain but you will always have players dedicated keep it Up.
SkripachGameR: R.i.p. ESO...
Andrew1357-v4v: Previously, there was a variety and uniqueness of classes. Now the game is moving towards a boring monotony. I want a balance of the combat system and unique rewards that can be obtained for their skills, and not just rewards that just take a certain amount of time, and sooner or later any player can receive them, regardless of their level of play.
frvits: This might be what brings me back to fully commit to ESO after years of dropping in and out over and over again.
Now just make the combat feel less floaty, with more impactful animations and ESO might actually be fun to play.
jakedunnegan: Hilarious hearing people talk about classes being dead when the original games didn't have classes except as reference points. The game launched with FOUR classes, probably the lowest class amount of any MMO of any significance ever released. The entire concept was that you'd be able to also add to those classes interesting other abilities: From weapon types (12 in all), armor types, (3 lines) or even stats (stam sorc or mag sorc?); from guilds, from world skills (vamp/werewolf) etc. Classes were ALWAYS one of just many ways of customizing your character and for many, the least used, particularly when it came to role selection. (Are you a tank, a dps, a healer? Classes do not restrict you.)
And if you didn't understand this already, I don't know how you can call yourself a player of ESO or ANY Elder Scrolls game.
dilucis: Waiting for harder overland patch to go back to the game
mindo1899: Dam this looks really good, is this game worth playing ?
