The Elder Scrolls Online Are We Back?

bingbongwost5134: I WILL gaslight myself into thinking you're the reason they now listen to feedback

dragonman7856: We are so maybe back

attackogaming: favorite monologue channel

ProseProseProse1: It seems like ESO was very lucky with Schick and Tuttle as lead loremasters, now there are few leading lore architects at Zenimax who understand what makes TES lore good.

mahanonbr8002: Calm down, they still have to make the Numidium show up

billster7424: Oh my gosh you actually included my full Schizo comment on ESO. Thank you so much that! I know that must have been tedious to review the ones that became essays like mine

MikuJess: Okay, hang on a second. I love the idea of Ysgramor riding a conjured storm bear. I only take umbridge with the "atronach" part. Ysgramor already has ties to storms (Wuuthrad means "storm's tears"), and the bear is the totem animal of Tsun, who seems to be the god Ysgramor most embodies. Having his own personal Clever Man is pre-ESO lore, too, but the Clever Craft is usually depicted as being very different from normal magic, similar to the Skaal and Reachmen. Just have it be some form of elemental nature spirit, or a divine blessing from Tsun. Hell, if you wanna water it down and jingle the keys in front of the Skyrim babies, just say it's from a shout; whether Ysgramor knew the thu'um is up for debate but it's not a huge stretch. There's no need to bring daedra summoning into this, it just wrecks the whole idea.

SCV70brightnoa: I wish I could like MMOs. I'd love to get into ESO, but I just do not have the time for the grind.

iamxevicho5170: I'd rather rope than touch this game again.

Baelrith: Great video and you make many great points.

CommanderSputnik: Haven't played in almost two years, honestly I missed it but in the state it was I wasn't really willing to touch it. Hopefully you're right and they'll keep this up

Soapylemonlad845: I've never played ESO and it never really interested me, but I do find the questionable canonicity at least from the fandom fascinating. Especially since it has this sort of state to a much larger scale then any other TES game.

ashiok: incredible intro sequence

mieymies427: Have you thought about doing a video on other vicin mods?

thesweetnsultry: I might come back but, finding out all my in game purchases are classified as rental property

I really don’t want a thing to do with Microsoft Bethesda Zennimax

Until it stops pushing the motto

None of us own are in game purchases

Like……Such Scum bags

omegasupreme2200: I think this will be the last TES video of a TES Youtuber that I will watch. Hopefully it's good.

NPazable: Ultimately, fandoms decide what is canon. An old example is Doctor Who, when they flat out gave you the guy's canon name and everyone ignored it, and that was in the 70s or something

Putrescence420: The game is back for sure, cause I, High King of Skyrim, ex High King ofc, will join this adventure soon. Make Tamriel Great Again.

theonlybilge: 37:26 It me.

slay7584: cotho warden bow/bow builds are actually quite godtier

vooshoos: new cotho new me

Lorlic1138: For me, as far as canon goes, well its all a dream right? Sometimes dreams dont make any damn sense.

purpleboye_: I never understood the hype for Cyrodil being a jungle. We already have black marsh, valenwood, and half of elseweyr that are all jungles.

ScarletRedCrimson: I've not played a whole lot of ESO and the bit i have was years ago but as far as the lore comes i think it suffers from "prequel-itis". It introduces so much that is NEVER referred to in later games and that's what breaks it for me, everything after the main story just seems like padding and with padding comes bloat and with bloat comes non-sense. They have to add more stories but by it being a prequel they cant have anything have major consequences or really matter or it goes against the later games, i do not envy those writers in the slightest.

Holbytatown: I think the unreliable narrator canon is used to justify the ESO because the narrator is actually unreliable (the writers don't care to be coherent just as much as the players would like they to be...)

dodongo7819: My headcanon for ESO is it's a fan fiction / historical fiction / book series made by a 4th era writer. It makes all things maybe true, maybe not, and explains the one hero, one year, no jungle things. But of course it sucks that so many of us feel like we'd prefer it not being canon at all.

Though ignoring canon can lead to interesting things. I really like the Project Tamriel Rebuilt modding project, for example. The project ignores most things introduced by later games after Morrowind, and it's great. Karthwasten is a bigger city than Markarth, which is not a former Dwemer city but has Direnni ruins, Tsaesci are snake people, and Nerevar is a bonewalker that you can meet in Necrom. It's a setting more in phase with the 1st Pocket Guide than ever and offers an interesting new perspective of what could have been the Elder Scrolls setting if nothing had changed since Morrowind. And of course it's made by loving fans. Maybe it's not better because lots of stuff is cool in the later games, but I at least feel like it's certainly less confused.

So yeah, Cotho, this is absolutely an incentive for you to try it and tell us about it. Thank you very much. I think Skyrim should have its Markarth side extension by the end of the year and Morrowind a big update and extension to Indoril land near October. Wait for it if you'd like, or just jump in and go to Narcis; it's cool.
