allhandsondik7803: Haven't played through the whole game yet, but so far, it's Owyn. His comedic lines are great, and he really makes you feel like you're becoming a champion the less he talks smack about you, and the more he's genuinely happy to see you fighting and winning, he gives me a weirdly warm feeling. Shoutout to the Argonian in the Thieves Guild questline who you help out, and he later joins the guild and becomes your homie.

Favorite of all time is way harder, so I'll just give a few.

Mordin Solus - Mass Effect, he's whitty, smart, hilarious, and tragic all rolled into one, his speech pattern is awesome, his backstory is integral to Mass Effect as a whole, and his final sacrifice never fails to shed a tear.

Destroyman - No More Heroes, he is just hilarious, everything he says and does is pure gold, and him continously coming back is a lot of fun, even if some of his boss fights aren't too fun.

Ulysses - Fallout NV, admittedly him continuosly spouting about THE BEAR THE BULL THE BEAR THE BULL does get silly, and him blaming the Courier for The Divide is stupid, but it's his tapes and the things he says about people and societal reconstruction that always sticks with me, his tale about the White Legs and how they unintentionally mocked his heritage by giving themselves braided hair to honor him, but left out any of the symbolism or importance the braids had in his culture. And being able to make him change his mind and fight alongside him at the end was beyond beautiful.

Igon - Elden Ring, just a fucking badass, man lost his legs but still had the determination to claw his way to revenge against Bayle. Plus his whole character and quest is one big Moby Dick reference.

bignlad835: Idk if they are my favorite but theyve always been the most memorable to me has to be Lucian Lanchance as he wakes you up in the middle of nowhere like "I know what you did you little psychopath....So wanna job" and in the OG game you didn't get a hint or anything. If you killed an innocent npc then went to bed he'd pretty much jumpscare you. Then after joining the brotherhood and finally being accepted by all the members. Who pops back up, Lucian telling you that you have to kill everyone you finally became friends with in the brotherhood because there's a traitor. Finally Lucian's dead drops get sabotaged and you start killing all the brotherhood bosses while Lucian is frantically trying to stop the monster he helped create and hire just before his own brutal murder and torture. Just screams that your character is truly terrifying when a very high ranking member of ancient assassins is trying to stop you because you're killing their literal best guys. Lucian starts as a cool mystery to get you immediately interested in the guild then becomes a man who thought he was in control before being completely outplayed

I’ve always thought that the adoring fan was supposed to engage in combat because that’s what he would do! No matter what I tried he would always engage in combat unless I was sending him back to the Arena. I thought for the longest time that what he was supposed to do until I saw videos like this explaining that everyone’s favorite thing about him is he runs away from combat.
