NEW Class Mastery Passives Reviewed ESO

JavadMaro434: Crossing my fingers that they somehow manage to workout a Class Change token now that the game is changing so much.

This is making me want to try a pure class arcanist again, but I really don't want to go back to switching toons everytime I want to consume a motif or a recipe. It would be so much easier if you could change the base class of your main.

lagsp1ke33: Templar tanks finally usable, I hope. Not even meta, just actually usable

Kvalri: Recursive Flame Unstoppable Force gonna be so awesome

Tyler-vu8yr: After looking over the Warden masteries, I have a strong theory that the class itself (or at least Animal Companions) will focus on applying status effects as its main fuel for gaining extra damage. Fitting though since Wardens are all about aspects of nature

I just hope we get more permanent pets with active abilities the same as Sorcerer has

LyranVega: Anybody know what outfit motif that is in the thumbnail?

eren_dogmaz: I liked those class based color filters

coycen: 50% damage for necros on targets with 50% hp and lower sounds insane... especially when another choice is to just make an enemy a corpse target for spells... lol

KyokoFox: I think you misunderstood the tooltip for the implosion passive. It says it has a 1% chance to proc per 1% missing health. Meaning that instead of it hitting harder at 50% health, it would hit more often at 50% health. Which makes sense for a cooldown so short like 0.2 seconds.

alexrharvey7: I might be missing part of the video where you clarify this but it sounds like you're saying the Implosion passive is static at 1% but it says 1% for every 1% missing health so at 50% you have a 50% chance to proc it every .2 seconds. Is that what you said or meant?

Father_Pazuzu: Oh wow, I'm so glad they're taking care of my pets for like last ten years...

So the awesome class set for summoner gives what? Some defence and health but without pets 15% DMG and healing done, wow so much help.

Like they couldn't give some buffs to summons, who wouldn't want a permanent storm stronach or stronger basic pets...

TX_CHAINSAW: Meh. Let me know when the combat team gets its head out of its rear and reverses or pivots subclassing.

guardianv5846: For One with Winter - You hit polar wind (a 10 second hot) every 10 seconds and you get a phat upfront heal the Bond with Nature heal and a solid hot while giving you 15% w/s damage

mave6602: I guess the Passivs buffed by Masteries are a hint at each class getting more passives in the future. My guess is the Templar will focus more on creating "sacred grounds" and each skill line may get more AoE buff effects and when the rework is done the masteries will be adjusted to referr to the different supportive AoEs.

guardianv5846: Skinny made a good point about the manifest destiny sounding really high, but remember you have to full class for this and one reason arcanists can hit so hard now is because they can swap out 2 useless lines for damage lines to buff them. Think of the current beam build without the 10% crit damge 5% damage from the warden line and the really high crit chance and crit damage from the nightblade line.

jonathanrichman2330: When arcanist first came out, I made a stam khajit bow/bow arcanist healer build. I would generate crux while healing by drinking ravage health potions to generate crux. I would wear Pillagers PA since I could wear medium armor for my body set instead of light armor with SPC. Bow and Medium armor are neat for healing since they increase the raw healing more than a resto or light armor. The build would basically just Echoing Vigor and Beam spam for 150k overhealing. I took the setup to a bunch of vet trials and some of the vet HMs. I was bummed when they changed it so self damage didn't generate crux anymore with Cruxweaver Armor.

SirBanana1992: I get that the major brittle on hypothermia might take things over the limit but 2 things to consider imo:

1. Nightblades have access to an higher limit to crit damage with one of their masteries so they specifically would need more, though preferably self-sourced to not put that weight on their teammates.

2. It can also mean that as long as it's upkept we can forgo other sources of crit damage to substitute for this one depending on ease of access/alternate sets to wear. For example you might not need an elemental catalyst or Lucent Echoes user as much and use alternate sets that provide different group support or utilities that might have otherwise not been used. But the thought that a pure Warden with Hypothermia if using Elemental Catalyst could be responsible on their own for as much as 45% crit damage to the group through debuffs on target sounds like it might have insane potential.

a_green_snake6451: The necromancer passives seem pretty good! It's a shame we gotta wait until next year to see a rework for them...

arnewengertsmann9111: I like the synergy you can have with the templars. That synergy seems to be lacking with the wardens passives. It might be the synergy comes over the status effects. but we will have to see.

QbanY1: I think major brittle isn’t affected by the crit cap. Bc it only applies to crit dmg done not taken

ghosttemplar6989: All Vampire users: Make us new skills please

bastienbabineaux7362: can you only have 1 of the skills or can i have more as a pure dk?

jacobslinalx89: These numbers can't stay the same. 600 spell damage for templars on top of minor savagery is insane. Then 2000 damage to your jabs on top of that...... templars are going to hit hard af

prisonmykee2595: I still wouldn’t go be what we see in this video. Passives will change twice, during pts and after individual class reworks.

MarkSchmaling: Wouldn't it be easier to fix subclassing? Wouldn't make sense to just make subclassed abilities more resource expensive?
