Shopping Cartalbundy7991: The negativity in the community is there for a reason.
Subclassing was put out with out any thought and foresight.
The devs are as arrogant as they are incompetent and there is nothing wrong in acknowledging it for what it is
Mizoturi: subclassing is the equivalent of how everyone ends up playing stealth archer in Skyrim, now we are all the same
TheHummingbirdschild: I have met scores of brand new players over the last couple of weeks and most of them have stayed in the game. That really doesn't sound like dying to me.
albundy7991: The main problem is not about the skills, it's about the passives that stack.
Buff defense and offense by 20% for pure classes.
johntexan4165: He’s just being a whiner. I’ve been gone a long time and just came back in to the game. There was a little confusion at first when it came to scripting and subclassing, but if you would actually read what the NPC says, it’s learnable. And fyi, I’ve made a subclass build with the draconic skill line and it works. It’s not all about skills… look at passives as well. With that said, I can see subclassing causing meta blooms after every new dlc, but is that something really new? I do wish they would go through all the older sets and make random changes. Then on the regular, do random updates to sets without notice. This will create a broader spectrum of builds instead of 90% of people using rallying cry.
vossboss220: As a gay black person i gotta say, there are genuine issues in the gaming industry that stem from "woke" shit that 100% harms games, but im also really tired of the grifters who see anything thats remotely gay and calling it woke garbage on those grounds.
No woke is ideological slop that adopts gay shit and uses it as an excuse to cover up poor writing and game design. Woke isnt a gay character. Its not as simple as everything "woke" is bad or being "anti woke" is bad. I am very tired of this discourse i just want good games
StarOfElyon: I’m starting to believe that people who knew they were going to be fired dropped this on the remaining devs and players.
ЯрославСуський: About class identity... Class identity in MMO.
This means that every class must have UNIQUE buff or debuff that this class bring into group content.
Because in good MMO every class designed with its strengths and weaknesses. Different classes should complement each other to overcome these weaknesses.
ESO was not the best from this side but...
For example, when necromancer was introduced only necromancer brings 10% damage debuff.
Or only warden can bring major resolve buff to all group.
In eso it already was ruined but some sets.
But with subclassing it was totally ruined.
chamaleon7455: I’m leaving this comment not so much to express any particular thoughts on the content itself, but rather to contribute to the engagement metrics, thereby assisting in enhancing the visibility and reach of this video through the algorithm. It's my way of supporting the creator in ensuring that their hard work receives the recognition it deserves, thus helping them to gain better treatment from the YouTube algorithm and reach a broader audience. Keep up the great work!
Alien.Embryo: The game is not going to die. They still have Central Skyrim up their sleeve.
木星大人Jupemoox: Great video! I love subclassing because I love to recreate my favorite fiction characters and a lot of them are a mix of one or two other classes haha And I will forever be a fan of no meta needed.. just stack stats on armor sets, and going for a build you like and is aesthetic but viable.. It's a group focused game after all we should be helping each other play freely meta or theory crafted.. not saying im for trolls though ha
SamanthaWolfe108: ok theres no way.. the guy at the start of the video who uses ... in between every 2 words.. I LITERALLY KNOW THIS GUY. he was arguing with people in zone chat and talking about a.. certain world war, and then i think he got banned from the game or something because then he went to the steam forums to do the exact same thing lmao, and i know its him in that comment because he actually just types like that all the time. didnt know he was homophobic too
iana6839: I was a veteran player. A end game healer.
Stopped playing two years ago because of toxic ppl.
EXP_Jenova: The #1 thing preventing me from investing my time into ESO is the lack of difficulty. The game never gives you an opportunity to use your rotation or learn your class because everything you hit just falls over. It's completely uninteresting.
ericwilson1421: I keep thinking more stuff to add, but what if not only choosing only one skill line to sub class, but what if you don’t get the passive for the line that the pure class would get?
There was a way to balance this they just did not do it. I would have preferred no sub classing, but now that we are here it needs to be addressed.
Already within the sorcerer one of the skill line says that you get an additional like 130 weapon damage for every sorcerer skill that you have slotted and I always try to slot as many as I possibly can just for that passive.
Vok250: As a casual player the issue with the 500 item sets is that I can't feasibly keep them all. The limited bank space means I have to scrap 99.9% of drops. And even with ESO you scrap it for mats or sell for gold. Worse for free players. It makes everything trash you don't care about.
Infinite bank space with ESO would be such an easy fix for the game. And we are taking pennies a year per player in modern cloud costs. It's not 1991 anymore.
ericwilson1421: I agree about the class sets, they need to have better bonuses. But also they are a missed opportunity. Imagine if not only do you have pretty decent bonuses to begin with, including a one piece bonus instead of your standard two through five, but if the bonuses were amplified by how many skills you have slotted from your class. Like slotting mages wrath made more sense than a destruction staff skill, or something along those lines.
Speaking of set bonuses, it would be nice if they could somehow make it to where master crafters could interchange bonuses, obviously with some sort of a penalty or a bonus, depending on what you pick or like some sort of a synergy, but I’ve always wanted that. I’d hate to see it somehow turned into how sub classing has, but if you could swap out set bonuses somehow and make that work only for master crafters that would be pretty amazing.
It seems to me that ESO is having a difficulty striking a balance between being an MMO and an RPG. I have absolutely no interest in playing an MMO but I do like playing ESO while I wait for the next single player RPG to come out. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve had some fun times grouping up with a few Guildies to run dungeons and stuff, but for the most part, I just want a single player adventure with all of the nerdy mechanics of an RPG. I like to interact with other people in ESO as much as I do in something like dark souls with the occasional duel or something like that.
deswill2737: Well I've been doompreaching since the announcement of subclassing... that update was essentially the beginning of the end. People said my concerns were unbased on fact and that it does not matter unless you are doing hardmode trails or some shit
ZevielS: I like to play templar but give up dawns wraith since radiant nerf for the animal companion from warden. Cosplay as a templar that just travels aroudn with anianl companiosn he grew up with
YGRL40: I agree!
ZevielS: Buff pure class and grant a new skill morph per skill line or second ult per skill line only usable if you pure class. That will bring uniqueness back
coyotemojo: They should focus on the armor and weapon lines. Sorc META was medium armor and DW/2H before subclassing was released. So class identity was already gone. There's no way they can balance all the class line combos. Too many moving parts.
Barlin-d2j: Classes in MMOs have strengths and weaknesses - and need those. They need gameplay and features that make them unique. This was hardly the case at ESO-release- and it has gotten only worse. Subclassing means that everyone is using the same few skills/sets. 90% of skills and sets have no place in game. Different gameplay comes mostly from different sets in ESO (LA,HA, beamster-buildfs etc).
The combat game-design and balancing in ESO has been broken for a long time- and has never been fixed. It did start with animation cancelling- which is a problem when the game design is about fast paced combat that requires reactions based on animations....
DPS output only got increased with each year - tanks and healers have hardly any place left in the game (only in vet dungeons and trials). While DPS builds are mostly all the same (for example all the beamsters).
Gear is not needed in most ESO-overland-content - u can kill millions of regular mobs without any gear at all - many overland bosses afk with just the leeching set. Leveling up is a pointless grind- since the whole world also scales up with the players level.
ZOS has 2 options:
Either go full freedom of skill combinations- like full healer skilltree, full tanking skilltree, full stealth skilltree etc - independent of classes OR
go full classes with their restrictions, strentghs and weaknesses
They can not have it both ways- at least not if they want to have a balanced and unique gameplay
----------------------------------
All the focus from ZOS was ONLY on money-making - not at all about fun/entertainment.
New DLCs had the best sets (=p2w), daily drop limitations/login rewards/endeavours and nonstop grindy events create fomo to fake an high active plyer count (doesn´t matter if people just log in for 10 minutes to do dailies and leave afterwards because it is no fun to coninue playing ESO), inventory is restricted on purpose- unless you pay for ESO .
The whole game is overpriced as hell. 7 year old DLCs are still sold at full price (around 40 dollars) in the crown store- even though u get the same DLC for 2-3 dollars in real life. Houses cost 150-200 dollars each. Changing looks/names of chars once cost around 10-15 dollars. The list goes on and on, and the ingame shop has a lot of exclusive benefits behind paywalls.
ESO is a MMO without a focus on multiplayer. A RPG without depth, a deep story or any choices to make (hence skip skip skip, makes no difference anyway). It is a Elder Scrolls game without the dark fantasy world of that francise.
It is a game that only copied features from other MMOS (DaoC, WOW etc.)- in the worst possible way. What made these features good wasn´t understood at all. ESO is a soulless game - used for money grabbing. Nothing else.
Bugs, lags and problems did not get fixed in 10 years. With each year more problems were added. They won´t be able to fix it now. Way too little way too late.
ESO is the reason why I will never buy any ZOS/Bethesda products/any from the former ESO leads, again. You reap what you sow. Would you go to a doctor messing up everything for 10 years straight ? F ZOS and their greed shabby work. I have already cancelled all payments.
RIP ESO - there are just too many better games out there
Kaslor1000: Step 1: Nerf Fatecarver. This single skill is responsible for like 80% of lack of build diversity in PvE.
