I really love that play style and was hoping there would be a great subclass runecarver build - but seems a bit of a dead set / playable now

How do you think Scathing Mage would compare to sets like Deadly or Tide-Born in trial boss fights? I know it's good on trash but I'm not sure how much the cooldown can add up in longer fights.
