p.herrmann4538: What i hate is that everything scales to your level. You cant prelevel, you cant go underleveled.... everything feels the same. Like your Progress just does not matter at all. Straight out boring.

nuculardeadragaming3056: I’ve had issues getting into ESO since it first came out, and I think lack of difficulty was a huge part of it. So I’m definitely gonna need to redownload this again and try the new difficulty out!

Chosen_one_22: I just got back into this game and it's a night and day difference. I'm slowly figuring out what's changed but 8 years away has definitely taken it's toll. It's also gonna take me so long to get through all the content they've added. Still love the game though. This game is feeding my Elder Scrolls hankering until ES6 releases.

Cwibacca: I've been playing ESO for years at this point, i immediately set my difficulty to master, and it feels pretty good. I may up it to vestige once i get the night market dungeons and trial done.

btackett2: OOOOO, I did not realize the companions were damage proofed on the increased difficulties. That is a nice adjustment so that they can actually tank and not just stay a corpse. They REALLY need to make loot better on the harder difficulties though, its a bummer to just get a little more gold but making the normal quest mobs drop purples or even gold items on the higher end would be really nice. May be impossible to do but would be great

parmenion6298: I have been playing eso on Xbox since 2016. I started off playing it solo just like Skyrim but then got interested in doing dungeons and trials so I joined some guilds. My advice to new players is to join some guilds and join in the activities. I have met some great people and have tested myself to the limit doing trial trifectas with some incredible players. I also joined a pvp guild and did group pvp content in cyrodiil. They taught me the ropes and with their help I made it to grand overlord grade 2. I should point out that I am in my 60s so if I can do it anyone can.

Here is another thought, maybe in the future, rework base game dungeons to make veteran mode as hard as dlc dungeons?

Darkness-6655: I really want to jump back into eso but i played on ps5 and i want to play on my desktop so waiting for cross play. Dont know how it will affect if i start anew. Not onky that but i hated the fact you needed to buy the crown pass? I think its called, where you get extra inventory etc. If you didn't have this, you pretty much had to spend all your gold to fast travel constantly which was too expensive to begin with. Also, playing vampire was just not viable compared to werewolf.

cptkilimanjaro3738: I had hoped the harder overland difficulties would make the enemies, you know - harder - as opposed to making the players wet noodles. And the gold and XP increases are nowhere near enough to make it worth it, anyway. I just want to walk around Tamriel at the strength I should be, while enemies do WAY more damage and have a good bit more health.

gordong11: To me this game is the Pinnacle of MMOs but it's kind of like a day late and a dollar short. As far as I'm concerned nobody does it better than Bethesda but it's far from perfect. MMOs just take up so much time that a lot of people just simply don't have or don't want to commit to these days
