Shopping CartXenwing: I've only been playing ESO and I love the game, plus why does anyone compare every game to War of Warcraft? It's nothing like that game at all, I solo play this game myself even though I'm in a guild.
datboi9648: As someone who doesn’t play MMOs and loves elder scrolls…I love ESO.
Idk about others but the amount of content and how big the world is and how much it explores elder scrolls factions, regions, armors, enemies etc etc…it’s such an amazing experience for me personally
chefnstrike: Something passed up a lot in this game. You can be in 5 different guilds at 1 time. That’s potentially 5 different guild venders and different vibes. This game is amazing for what you pay for.
Motawa88: While the world doesn't change too much but npc will recognize you some times say stuff like "you are the one who saves the king" etc which feels really cool
chefnstrike: Honestly there is no game to compare to for free. There is so much that can keep occupied. Over 3000 quests and so many achievements.
iamLordDonger: This is how I’ve played since launch! I’m not great at the game but I always have a great time!
CannibalShadow: I love the game tbh, it's the type of game I can chill on and just go do things.
chefnstrike: 15:40 watch the teleport in first person. It’s awesome. I’ve been doing a lot in first person recently.
robertg5792: Great presentation. I think I have tried to play this 4-5 different times and the combat, managing multiple skill bars was to great a barrier. Loved the visuals and the world. 1
Callme_Mr.B: Great video!
Motawa88: You are a bit wrong about sets. There are many special items that give you very unique and fun effects. Exploding bodies in blood for example which looks cool and gives aoe damage. there are tons of times with special fun effects
Bubbles382: Yes needed this. I'm playing solo but I keep running into dungeons I can't complete on my own. Probably my character build I'm not the best. But how do I know which dungeons I can complete solo or not.
dragonblade3808: its a mmorpg not a singleplayer game you want singleplayer go play like god of war or something.
Darkrimo: The fact that everything is voice acted is my biggest selling point for it. I dont know any MMO that does this
NevenThe: I started playing this game in 2017 and I played it as a single player game from the beginning and I got hooked instantly. Back then, enemies were a real challenge and it was satisfying to defeat a boss, quests were fun and it felt like you were progressing towards something.
I cannot wait for the challenge difficulty to be introduced, I was hyped about it since they mentioned it back in late 2024, and I want to jump back in so badly into the game
brandonjohnson191: I've got 4,416 hrs in game, and most are solo hrs, questing and level grinding 12 different characters.
I like solo play, I can run at my own pace, harvesting, exploring, questing, appreciating the views, play what I want, when I want, and how I want, at any given moment.
I have a dedicated dungeon group that gets together once, sometimes twice, per week, and it's a great time, and a guild that does daily events all week long, that I occasionally join, but I really prefer solo play, but that's my personality, I've been an introvert my whole life.
I started a new character to play with my wife when she decided to play, and neither of us really enjoy questing together, which was the whole point, because one goes this way, oh, look, squirrel, the other goes that way, and we're backtracking and getting turned around, all the time, it just takes the fun out of it, imo
I like playing with others, but more often, I prefer to play solo.
jakisbak20: I have gotten back into ESO the past few months just questing and paying attention to the main quest of zones and of the base game and i have been having a blast doing this, i have basically been play it like how i would any scrolls game, 2-hander and heavy armour and its been a tone of fun not caring about whats the meta or whats the best things to go for but just doing what i wanna do in the game.
But now i need ti get my hands on the oakensoul ring cause it i have only been using my 2-hander.
Stickman0660: I enjoyed my time with this one. Played mainly solo but qued for dungeons fairly frequently. Never got much chance to do the raid type conent tho. I may come back to it again some day
syoudipta: The wayshrines system in ESO is more logical than the fast travel systems in Skyrim or Oblivion, where you can literally teleport to any marked place on the map from anywhere (unless being chased by a mudcrab or from inside a home) once you discover it.
Also, compared to only one contiguous map as in single player ES games, the many many zones of ESO need to be separated obviously due to the sheer amount of resources it would require to have them all loaded on the memory at the same time. Within the same zone, there is no difference in terms of the games being open-world.
timothyven: I first started on PC back around late 17 early 18. I had played Skyrim and so ESO piqued my interest. After getting it I kept hearing (reading) you can't play it like Skyrim and I didn't understand why. So I continued to play it like Skyrim.
Fast forward a couple years my PC craps out. I get a used Xbox because it's cheaper than a PC.
I've now been playing ESO Skyrim for some 8000 hours or more with more than 95% solo.
Yeah, I'm in a couple guilds, mostly to help others when they ask. I play casually. I may (until the new season pass) just log in for the daily login rewards or I might play an hour or so.
There have been times people help me out too. The odd person gives me a piece of armor, some gold at times, or buff foods. I return that kindness by paying it forward.
Most folks are are helpful I've found. I don't follow any particular play style, or follow the typical MMO rules.
Edit to add: I played EverQuest back in the day and followed the MMO model then. Beta tested WoW, but it just didn't flip my skirt. Finding ESO is a perfect fit for me. Some of the stuff including the game I ignored and only started incorporating it into my gameplay like housing recently. The more I play, the more I expand the parts I play
PseronWyrd: I've plated ESO as a single-player game for over a decade. To me, other players are NPCs with wildly unpredictable AI.
catriona_drummond: I love that it easy, something many players complain about and that I can play it solo. I am physically impaired and my motorical skills and reaction times are not very good. I#d hate to be a burden to a gruop and in most other games I really struggle to achieve much. ESO just gives me the freedom to roam, to explore, to fight to the best of my abilities and still make progress and feel what i do is meanigful and entertaining. It's inclsove in a way that all the inclusivity programs and colourblind modes miss. Just by being easy enough and still rewarding.
What annoys me about it is the scaling. It's a big game but it feels like a toybox. Hills and inclines are unnaturally steep, if you stand dead center in the mighty and dangerous Alik'r desert and have render range on max you can see all it's ends in every direction. I don't say the game needs to bigger, but somehow it would benefit of the whole terrain would just be pulled at and strechted by 50% in every direction to make it look and feel more real and not like some sort of diorama or model railway.
josiewoodrose7616: This game, in my opinion, is currently the best MMO out there. And, it is excellent as a single player game too.
syoudipta: Hello, new player welcome to ESO
jorgeluisbezerra4231: Põe a opção de áudio em português por favor.
imjustkentaro: After 100 hours you turned from Nord to Dark Elf?
killermann2: 4:05 The long standing world building is not unique to eso as final fantasy xiv have a very large world to build on as well.
