gabrielsantanavideo2: We REALLY need something like "Class Specialisations" skill lines (or they can call "Masteries"), with 2 options per class, but we would have to CHOOSE JUST ONE of them. Each "Class Spec" could be really simple, it could be just a skill line with 3 active skills, 1 passive skill, and 1 ultimate skill. And these "Class Specs" skill lines could bring back some of the original class identities, but also bring some common RPG archetypes that we dont have in the game (but making sense with TES lore).
- For the Sorcerer, we could choose --> 'Pyromancer' (Fire-Mage) or 'Maormer Mage' (with a Storm/Sea water theme)
- For the Templar --> 'Cleric' or 'Paladin'
- For the Warden --> 'Druid' or 'Shaman'
- For the DragonKnight --> 'Barbarian' or 'Warmage' (a tank mage)
- For the Nightblade --> 'Ranger' or 'Corsair/Pirate' (this spec could have a sword combat-style with one-hand, like a duelist)
- For the Necro --> 'Lich-Lord' or 'Warlock' (this necro spec could summon a little crowd of minions)
- For the Arcanist --> 'Dwemmer-Tech Engineer' or 'Alchemyst' (like a Chemistry-Mage, with the themes of poison and toxic substances)

dillondejong1056: I think what is underrated about this news is that it seems like ESO is going to be their baby again. With the cancellation of other projects to this announcement, it looks like a real attempt to modernize/improve the player experience is upon us. They wouldn't do this unless they are going in on ESO as the cash cow of the next 5--7 years. Props to the whales who make this game super profitable lol

I have been doing everything to make my pure sorcerer work using all shock damage and shock sets and I parse about 70-80k on a good day. I still use dark magic skill line which everybody hates as it’s always at the very bottom of skills taken by those who sub class. It is always an awesome feeling when your crystal fragment hits like 65 to 90k in direct damage. But whenever I load into a PUG, I’m looking at arcanists just beaming mobs and melting them within a second, and when you are the lone sorcerer with three people beaming, it just feels weird at best and like you’re just not pulling your weight at worst.
It is nice to have an off meta build though and I don’t see that changing. I was really hoping that they would boost the performance of a pure class and it looks like they might finally do it
Now please make my crystal fragments do the elemental damage associated with the staff equipped. My crystal fragment should be a burst of shock damage.
