YES, the lay offs are going to cause problems. YES things are going to be delayed, and now everyone is seeking any small detail to point and yell "DOOM IS UPON US!". But remember, we just got a big Dev shift and everyone was excited about the new trajectory. Yes, its going to be delayed, but the game will continue on!

I run a guild on Xbox NA server, we still get 10 to 15 new guild applications PER DAY! We have LOTS of new players that we are helping, teaching and gearing up, then sending them to other guilds so we can help the next generation of players and event leaders! THIS GAME IS NOT DEAD!

PixieoftheWood: I saw this and didn't even notice the crowns with it. I just went 'oh, a ghost mount. I don't want that, because I don't think my characters would ride a ghost horse' and went on. I honestly think a crown sale that's not tied to anything would work better, because the mount is only going to entice you if it's something you want. I tend to do roleplay builds, so if none of my characters have a backstory that makes sense with a particular mount, I don't want it.

If you can't afford it don't buy it... all of us aren't struggling financially. To some of us $60 is nothing. To some its a lot. The people that have it aren't complaining... and those of us that don't want it also aren't complaining.

I have the money and don't want it... nor do I care when a business behaves like one... because we're supposed to be old enough to understand basic things.

Hexondro: Honestly I think they didn't have a crown sale this year bc of the layoffs with less content coming out with the crown store. Bc tbh nothing has been wowing me in there either. So the next problem is we have a crown sale with plenty on crowns with nothing to really spend it on. Then we'd be upset about that. Rn I dont think they can really win atm with them being stretched too thin. I think they realize all of this especially since they've been dropping nothing but pirate stuff the last 8 months. I think they know full well and are trying to pull a playstation and just get by without saying they are struggling.

samuraichicken2315: It's an odd comparison but ZOS seems to be taking a leaf out of the fast-food industry: jacking up prices while continually decreasing the quality and quantity of their product.

In both cases they are exploiting the fact that customers are creatures of habit and using the boiling frog approach to screw them out of every last cent. Even though they are steadily losing customers, in the short term they are making good profits until they end up breaking the last of their long-term customer base.

The game had big plans for updates and shitload of people get fired and now people are mad the updates are coming slow like wow I’m so totally shocked who would’ve thought. If the game goes down under then oh well. But imma keep playing either way. This in my eyes is a nice purchase if you want to buy lots of crowns but if not then just skip it.

Citizen13: When compared to the 14000 crowns for 99 bucks, it’s about a 30% discount plus a mount I’ll never use. The 14k crown bundle was 35% off in the past, so if you compare the old sale discount to what’s included in this bundle, the mount is a 9 and a half dollar mount and the crowns would be 50 bucks and change, just to put it in perspective.

You could wait for a sale still and get the big 40% off of the largest bundle or 35 off of the second largest. Or you could get this bundle that equates to 30 percent off when compared to the second largest bundle. It’s a good deal overall, even if it’s not the absolute best deal ever, it’s pretty solid if you’re looking to splash.

MiraculousMilk: I have a theory about the timing. I think that they will release similar packs with the rerelease of each crown crate. Maybe the appeal is a guaranteed way to get that style and make it a "new" mount. I would massively prefer a crown sale, but someone like me would appreciate a guarantee.
