Shopping CartFlameForged75: Eso hit a turning point at the notorious update 35 and has gone downhill since.
As for ZOS listening and implementing changes, c'mon lol, this is ZOS.
ЯрославСуський: Trying to destroy the game?
giantmonkee1199: I would like to see ZOS work in small teams to work on preexisting content in the game. Example...have a Thieves Guild/Dark Brotherhood dev team that knows the story/quests and can expand it from what we already have. Every year or whenever they can release content(make their money). As I mentioned, this can be done for Theieves Guild, Dark Brotherhood, Psijic Order, Mages/Fighters Guild and so one. These are already existing stories that can be expanded without adding new zones.
samuraichicken2315: After so many years of disappointments and broken promises, the ball is entirely in ZOS's court.
I hope they succeed in making something different but I'm skeptical while they still have the same people who have kept serving us the same slop over and over again.
sk8legendz: They could have done so much more with the event. When I found out it was just repeatable quest, and no actual challenging fights, it became a major turn off
How hard was it to just put some veteran trial level bosses at the end of each wave near the writhing wall? And just let us fight endless waves and bosses, until we filled up the progress meters.
I don't think anybody wanted to do dailies and quest
Richardx75: The siege camps aren't to bad to grind but ngl I've been grinding for hours and hours and the loot has been terrible I've only gotten 2 wormwrithe style pages and 14 of the fragments for the pet which kinda sucks because I was grinding all day Friday Saturday and Sunday...
leeturner6507: Absolutely awful event ….. fix all the bugs in the game would be very helpful to all the players , this is why most people pulled out of paying monthly for the game
MultiKwolf: thats what they said 10 years ago lol
ParanormalGirl5: I got the house last night on the NA server on the pc. It dropped on the siege camp Golden reward. I was so shocked
alexrubiano7403: Failed miserably
To many years of chances and broken promises .
Not saying its a bad game becuz its not but the potential of this game is so high and devs just really havent handle the game well at all .
Game going to have to go cross platform eventually . No choice if they dont then its going to struggle
Xesh: what's really disappointing is how many players aren't ready for zos to take risks like this. The vengeance campaign was another step forward that many balk at. I think the writhing wall event is a step in the right direction, though a litle lackluster...it's not uninspired.
bill-ESO: Ty for the post. Typical Zos is like the film the Good the Bad and the Ugly. The good is the rewards: mount, pet, possible house, two new pages (1 gold, 1 purple), achievements and so on. The bad is; 500 people farming 1 bear, too many repeatable quests a day per toon (think 24) the camp markers have been buggy (showing it's active when it's not) and so on. The ugly ; mindless quests, the progression was nerfed, then adjusted back and it's still slow and the icing on the cake its rolling into a double XP cash grab event.
If there was any thought into this event, they would have ended phase 1 right before the Witches event and made the story go some like; we held them off for now and let us prepare... Then resume the Wall event right after and whatever percentage was not achieved in phase 1 add it to phase 2.
Years ago they had a global event (think summer set) that offered the Grand Psijjic Villa and that event was great cause it didn't consume your day doing extreme mindless stuff.
Overall the event is the greatest marketing pitch Zos done so far and I am not saying we got duped, but I can say we were quickly reminded how Zos does things.
Alphanubilus1: Tbh I believe had this event occurred a month after Solstice was released it would have faired better. Most of us have all the gear, so the only thing you’re grinding for is motifs and that blasted house.
salinaember9527: idk if i'm in the minority group, but i'm loving the new drastic changes to eso, like sub-classing and scribing. more customizability is welcome, or further expansions of implemented systems. i just wish they would treat their ideas like other live service games, with frequent and consistent updates and improvements over time instead of years later.
StarOfElyon: I got permanently banned from the forums for saying "they don't care about our feedback" and months later they start doing surveys and asking for our feedback. Like... WTF? So they basically admitted that they weren't listening to our feedback before. If they had did things like this earlier, I wouldn't have said what I said and gotten banned. SMH. I would love to be able to give them my feedback now that they're listening!
ChristmasLore: Being optimistic, especially now, is just bizarro.
ringod123: Something different? We had this exact type of event a couple of years ago when the community had to "work together" to earn a new house.
otakuvillain6829: The event is what it is, but what irritates me is paying premium price for a DLC, and already in October, only receiving half a map and half a story.
Blubblubbub: I want them to add a new weapon skill, spears, hand to hand, sword and magic, a few new classes and stuff like bards, hemomancy, etc
SkyrimBeast: Regarding future content, I would like to see zone stories expanded upon. I came into ESO after years and years of playing TES 5: Skyrim. Dawnguard was my favorite of the DLC's. Having said that, I'd love to see a expanded zone story for Western Skyrim that brings in the Volkihar clan. I'm sure a lot of people will say that it's not possible if the lore is to be followed. On the other side of the coin, lore gets twisted all the time. We saw this happen with West Weald. Who would have ever thought a forgotten Daedric prince would make it into the game anyway.
Moltenreach: You need the seasons dlc whatever it is to participate?
Falk87-kf87: Even if this event wasn't as successful as the devs expected, the fact they are willing to try something new really does make me happy.
rionsgaming7415: The "siege camps" should of been always active with a one minute cooldown. The more players at a siege camp will spawn a trial level boss.
timv4290: My biggest gripe is this is supposed to be the entire community working together, yet only ONE event is community working together, which is the base camps. The rest have us competing against each other for mobs to get the quest drops.
If you're going to make a community event, make ALL quests community based instead of putting us against each other
jessicahardwick9213: But haven't they done annual events where we could "earn" rewards over time with a measure of whatever the heck we were to do? It feels exactly like those, with each stage released on schedule, but the illusion of community guiding it. The only difference is that it's tied to DLC than like a house.
georgejennings8743: At this point, I’m only interested in new zones that expand the continent of Tamriel. I want to go see more of black marsh or Elsewhere
