Claymore00000: Going to rock this just because I miss my old DK. I’m so torn on Oakfathers though. While it’s possibly the strongest set against humans, it becomes a wiffle bat against NPCs who don’t have as many buffs if any. Might take a set of Pyre or Null as backup when clearing resources or doing IC.

hansdampf2535: Great Build thank you Bislobo! I copied it and was able to hold my own against the metas. Though I don't play it well yet. I couldn't kill them, but they couldn't kill me either, I think a draw is better than being killed!

As good as Oakfather is, I think it's underrated. You get the pen and w/s damage bonus not just for your opponents Major and minor buffs but for your own too. I use an add-on that displays pen on the screen so I always know what I have. I have less pen and damage when I'm unbuffed than when I am buffed and out of combat. Without the lover mundus and using a nirnhoned lightning staff, I have over 8k pen out of combat. In combat, I easily average over 20k pen. It's a very strong set. Note on your own build, unbuffed you had 7598 pen and then when you buffed up, you ended up with 12088. Which is a difference of 4490 or exactly 10 major buffs. You might even try using something other than maces to see how it performs. Maybe nirnhoned axes or swords. The Oakfather set by itself seems to have all the pen a build needs.
