R-E-D-U: At this point they should just give every set in the game a "while battle spirit is active" tag and change, effectively making PvE and PvP balance completely separate, it would be some work, but it would be better in the long run, and they basically did a half assed version with vengeance anyway.

Super Tanky build that can block cast huge bursts heals while having huge reduced dmg while block is literally the issue why every 1v1 of good players just ends up both players walking away and this heavily encourages ball groups because it’s the only way to actually kill a proper PvP build lol majority of good players I come across in PvP simply don’t engage with me because they already know I can’t kill them and they can’t kill me so no point even fighting there’s a reason all the good players are using corrosive or onslaught ult because it’s the only way to actually kill another another good player with a solid build …

phelipepacheco7986: I found the nerf in DK and Lobisomem welcome.. they were clearly above the others. It's ridiculous to face players who don't need sustain. Face a wolf with 50k of defense, with the cure based on maximum life, totally abusive DOT. The DK that is to be focused on DOT by the description of the class update, is hitting 20k on the whip.. It has extremely strong buffs, damage and very high sustain.. What discourages you is that you use any other class against these two.. What makes players most frustrated is Sorc with blink and infinite resource.. if you play nightblade, Templar, necro and arcanist, there is no way a good player fight against another player using these classes.. I stopped using DK and SORC, because when I fought against other players, I saw that I was totally unbalanced against them, fighting 1v3 in imperial city, against excellent players and killing everyone. I believe this nerf will balance the game more, I just missed a bigger nerf on top of the sorc.

vegetavegeta8878: Over the years they have nerfed every single one of my nightblade builds and even with Class mastery its not even close to subclass, they nerfed class mastery for PVP, if they just left the damage and Critical damage it would be slightly better than subclass but because its nerfed I remain subclass.

samuraichicken2315: I switched over from ESO to Guild Wars 2 as my main game a couple of years ago, and it has been a real lesson in how devs can work with a community.

A few months ago GW2 had a massive global nerfs to make up for the powercreep that had happened over the past few years. Every class got nerfed but they also reduced the health of monsters and raid bosses in more recent content that had been built around the powercreep.

Was it perfect? No, and not everyone was happy. But devs did put a lot of time explaining why the game needed the nerfs and consulted with the community with all the many changes. Then the nerfs happened and new content stayed roughly the same in difficulty (due to monster nerfs) but the old content because a bit more challenging again since the average players could not as easily ignore mechs and dps their way through content.

The point here is that the devs at GW2 adopted the 'Measure twice, cut once' mentality while the ZOS devs seem to hack away continually at players' builds every three months and never stop.

ScottAbraham-g4o: pvp is so unbalanced it all needs nerfed. pve doesn't need nerfed at all. don't think anyone complains 'oh you do too much damage in the dungeon you need a nerf'. make everyone in pvp on the same level and there are no complaints.

ESO_PRIME: MMO's always get nerfs and a game this large needs these nerfs. I love that ZOS is listening and these nerfs were 100% necessary. I'm stoked ZOS is finally listening to the pvp community.

What got me though was nerfs to pure class builds due to subclassing, like when they changed beams to not be damage over time which screwed flame staff builds. And when they nerfed the Deah Knell passive because of subclassing. When I do something off meta and still get nerfed, that's what bothers me.

objektiftekno: The forum system is flawed. Not every player participates in the forum, and the players who consistently participate don't even make up 10% of the game's total players. So, only certain people are on the forum!!!

Therefore, nerfs to skills and items are based on feedback from the forum.

This situation is dragging ESO into an inescapable quagmire.

If we, as players, report this to ESO officials, and if they stop using the forum as a feedback tool, we can prevent such nerfs. Of course, necessary nerfs are acceptable, but nerfs that harm our hard work are simply impossible.

Friends, protect ESO. If this game is valuable to us, don't start an aggressive nerf campaign on the forum. Ultimately, these actions are harming ESO.

Laser2120: There's a really simple solution to this problem you separate pvp from pve the amount of stuff they have nerfed because its to strong in pvp which then make it completes useless in pve is so annoying. My main was a sorc I had this really good build for running maelstrom then they nerfed shields becuase it was making sorc hard to kill in pvp, totally ruined my build with out the shields you just kept getting one shotted. Never played on my sorc since so disheartened with the nerf.
