nomadsland8322: Thrive in Chaos is a good way to get up to 36% out of the way real fast too. Turns it into a corrosive-esque kind of setup with insane heals instead of capped damage taken.

Edit- Deadly is also a good way to use this too, 15% is a lot. Dots with 100% pen are also pretty nasty.

jdtruchan: Youre looking at this wrong. Its not about boosting damage to offset - all of those sets and bonuses would give you that damage on top of not having a 46% reduction.

The real numbers are here - 6600 armor = 10% damage reduction. So youd need 30.3k armor for you to reach 46% damage reduction. If an enemy has less than that you are simply doing less damage with the set than a guy with zero pen and all the same damage buffs in the video.

Thats not even all - i can easily accidently hit 10k pen no problem - physical damage can proc sundered passively which is minor breach and deep fissure procs both major and minor. Other people also are constantly proccing breaches on people. Thats 8k pen by itself. With little to no effort on your part that would be wasted by the lamp knight. Realistically breaking even compared to a normal build requires an enemy to have 40k armor. And no one does that. No one who is actually a threat to you. If you want the set to outdo something like orders wrath theyd need more than 46k armor. Anything less and youre just lowering your overall damage in pvp

Not sure on much else It felt pretty dang strong thats for sure. Oh yeah i was also wearing Sea Serpents Coil. Too tell you the truth i didnt see much change when putting on OakenSoul either.

Mr_Winsor: Ive tried doing this with my arc beam build. I found that you will technically do more damage to tanky players but overall it works out less to other players. Probably be wayyyy more damage if you used shattered fate instead with all those other percentage boosts. Great video, I like the ideas. All in all, it really isn't a good set

I didn't care for the damage reduction from lamp nights and found this to be a better alternative for a penetration focus, build
