Shopping Cartmegakillerx: My dream of finally seeing Winterhold in its prime is finally crushed..
boopuchannel: whole franchise going through an extinction level event fr
Syrian-guy: I wish if there was a way the people could preserve the game story content in an offline way so it doesn't vanish when the servers stops.
crabstacean: My circle of friends is what made me play ESO passionately from 2019 to 2021, now that Riften is empty it just doesn't feel the same anymore. I came back and I was greeted with freebies like DLCs and in-game currency. They did everything right giving away the new contents for free, increased overland difficulty, and making previously paid cosmetics unlockable in-game, but I still found it empty.
TritCitrus: My Just as I sat down for lunch at work
th3enchantervrc: 16 year old me being able to get the midyear mayhem pvp event circlet in one day still baffles me to this day
huh8662: As someone who started playing ESO 4 days ago, this is unwelcome news.
CryoCrusader1: Man mentioned nearly every companion except Zerith-Var and he's the best written piece of content this game has had in years, probably second best written content overall behind Sotha.
Mark-uh3un: I was addicted to this game between 2017 and 2019, so many good memories. RIP.
incognitoknight2250: Honestly, as a TES fan, I wish that I was able to enjoy ESO.
I actually bought it and played a bit as a dark elf.
The thing is, i just have no money to keep up with MMO content by buying the expansions as they come out.
Also, i might be misremembering, but I think that the game had group-only content, and I was playing as a single player.
aerkaiik: ESO is not that bad honestly. The main ppl i see complaining about it are people who haven't touched it since 2014 or haven't played it at all and like comparing it to WoW or LoL.
Akkleptos: I love how when you mentioned how many languages the voice acting had, ALL three flags were wrong. Cheff kiss!
I don't think Microsoft is going to kill one of its very few actually profitable businesses, but these days we can't really expect all their decisions to actually make sense. I really hope they don't retire ESO. That's literally 7,900 hours of my life there.
EDIT: For the "floaty combat", I recommend playing woth a controller and setting rumble to on. Improves the experience a lot. Even harvesting wood and ore is satisfying.
DannyRufato: It baffles me how many people are shitting on ESO, it's an awesome MMO, one of the best in the market, ask any MMO player (who plays a bunch of them instead of one specific MMO religiously) and they'll say that ESO is a solid choice. I started playing it with my wife, we're 300h in and there's still so much to do, and the game cost literally 5 bucks. I know new content and ESO can get really expensive in the long term, well maybe just have the self control to not spend your money on things you don't think is worth it?
There might be at least 600h of free content in this game, ESO is completely unnecessary for a PvE experience, inventory management isn't bad if you think with your brain instead of just hoarding every piece of junk you find, and that is the ONLY "compelling" reason to pay for ESO .
Just pick 2 or 3 crafting skills, find a friend that'll do the same (pick 3 other crafting skills), and everytime you get something related to his profession, trade with him and vice-versa. Create a guild, add 9 randoms, you got yourself 500 slots. Most people complaining about the game are salty lonely chuds, if you play this with friends and coordinate all professions and roles, it is so much fun.
You might say "oh but you need DLC content to get the best meta PvP sets" there is literally a new PvP mode that balances everyone out with the same pre-defined gear, so there is no advantages on that either.
The biggest incentive to get ESO is if you like cosmetics and want to pay for them, either on Crown Store or Tome (season pass), or if you want access to any content and don't want to permanently own it, which is not bad to be given an option of.
They've been improving the game a lot lately, it's really sad that Bethesda's "out of touchness" made Microsoft think they're not the masterpiece creators they we're 15 years ago, Fallout 76 then Starfield were dug a deep grave for them, and TES6 is nowhere to be seen, hence the layoffs, but it's very frustrating that ZoS had to pay the price for the main studio's inability to reinvent itself.
Pan_Z: Microsoft has become what EA was a decade ago. They gobble up studios, mismanage everything, then mass layoff staff. No one in management ever suffers consequences.
rocks7263: ok, you got me with the butt slider.
Rebelnutt: The three faction storyline is pretty decent I have played all three of them besides the imperial DLC which I don't even know if that has its own however even the side choices are a good addition that other MMOs really don't do other than SWTOR.
becomeunreasonable7508: This is what stop killing games was made for; 12 years of continuous support and updates to grow a world as rich as this, adding multitudes of playable lore and worldspace, now on the brink of just disappearing forever. It's a whole world, digital it may be, about to be deleted and inaccessible forever for no reason other than a bit more profit. Make the game playable offline
FlaviusAetius451: I really hope that ESO will continue and the members who worked on it and fired are going to participate in ES6 , they dont deserve any punishent ... And if they are worried about sales , well , I bought Oblivion , Morrowind , Skyrim Special , than anniversary update , ESO , and Fallout 4 , then Anniversary edition , while I was saving for a very strong new pc ( preparing for TES6 ) , I bougth Oblivion Remastered Deluxe or whats called edition , probalby gonna buy soon the Morrowind expansion for ESO . Pls , dont ruin The Elder Scrolls franchise!!! OR IF THEY DO..MHMMM .. POOR CICERO WILL BE SAD! And dont cancel ESO ! Hope you are good Pilybius! There will be another Altmer race and real life inspirations anniversary update video I hope ;)
delunk5906: I’m so glad this happened even though people losing jobs is always tough and not good news. I’m pretty sure they are getting rid of all the DEI and waste of spaces that probably just slowed things down. We will see how ESO does in the next couple of months.
BigOugh: Babe grab the beers our channel is on!!!
Motawa88: This is a good video. Though I don’t understand the combat complains. I play on pc with controller and it feels good . The la weaving is kinda dumb though
Virchl-C48: 5:03 Algeria mentioned let's gooo
aaryansharma7763: i would definitely fw game like ESO, especially just to explore tamriel's other countries but last i remember they didnt have servers for India and i was watching other players in 999ms
Puffalupagus360: I have never been able to get into elder scrolls online. When I try to get into it years ago it just seemed like a huge cash grab and I haven't been able to shake that feeling since.
DoorStuck1390: 3:37 got a good chuckle out of me lmao
WojteK_the_holy_ghost: as a german, the flag joke in minute 5 hurt. but true.
rojasj789: It's been years since I last played ESO.
