Shopping Cartkbfrancis7092: I am glad to see at least one content creator not spreading the panic narrative.
_invinciScribe_24: Oh yes stress lifted off my shoulders. Thanks for the heads up GRAVE
wandering-bard: Good news! Thanks for the update.
POCKATA: In other words: class refreshes are still going to happen but you will need to wait longer and continue to pay for ESO and others until its done.
datdamguyrokl6160: Finishing the class rework as fast as possible is the most important thing right now as it affects every aspect of the game
user-zp8sp4hj3d: Am enjoying Dynamic Encounters. Looking forward to Rumors and New Upcoming Seasonal Event. Even looking forward to a new CheeseHead story
i_am_geopi: If I was a dev still employed I would say the same thing, thing is they can always get cut again, we know for sure more layoffs are coming we just don't know when or which studio will get the axe. Also saying " Class refresh is still coming " can mean that it's planned right now to come out in the next 1-3 months or the next 2 years. Sad that the situation is so gloom.
passiveparticipant: I love that they cut the fat. I think the ZOS team will be much more productive now.
crystallinecrow3365: It never occurred to me to worry class refreshes would be canceled, but I did feel that it was inevitable the pace would slow way down, which felt devastating to me as a Nightblade main with (bummer alert) poor health and an uncertain lifespan. Your suggestion that they might FOCUS on them and maybe even get them done quicker is now my happy thought. Please, Akatosh, let it be so
trevortrott9741: They just need to put crossplay on the back burner for now and focus on getting the class refreshes finished faster now that they have cut some of the layers of management i feel like it speed up content release not slow it down as long as they spend there resources where is matters imo crossplay will be a nightmare for pvp unless they increase the population of greyhost to the same population vengeance can hold
zotzulu: The layoffs are bad—but they aren’t “massive”! I’m a Destiny player as well & those were indeed massive—
tamazbeking5838: I still think they should do the original classes first. They did the DK next should be Templar, nightblade, or sorcerer. Then they can do warden and arcanist after.
jttg3856: Templar ain't getting reworked till 2028
krieg_guardsman9548: Well they are still employed, it's not like they are going to say it's all over people would leave the game then they all would lose their jobs
notiowegian: Revenue(not profits) has been as high as 15 million a month...player engagement dropped to an all-time low last December...they saw a 75% decrease in play-time and presumably player spending since 2020...so the game is absolutely not in a healthy place...and even more unhealthy when there are too many people in studio. ESO had the potential to be a massive success...the ZOS team released a broken game in 2014, and took years of investment and dev time to make it a good game by 2020. Since its peak, it has seen progressively worse releases until the bottom fell out in 2025 and some changes were made. It isn't a standard MMO in that it was a terrible on release but rode its IP to success many years after release...by the time it was already considered old. And now it is ancient. A huge missed opportunity on one of the most beloved IPs...and just another sign of the blatant incompetence and disregard for players that occurred across gaming starting in 2020. I expect a bounce back because I have played mmos who have survived due to strong IPs and generally a smaller, motivated studio creates higher level content overall than a bloated studio with little accountibility.
bad_mankingdom4115: I'm done. The constant change has turned the game into something I wouldn't have purchased a decade ago. I don't care about new classes. Relearning old classes over and over has bored me. New zones die too quickly and the community is more about fads than a healthy game. I've gone single player over a year ago and still couldn't salvage my interest. It only has people playing because they want their time to have been worth something. It's just a sunk cost fallacy
MrRandom-r1v: Woohoo..... sooooo 2 to 5 years more of dk and ww thinking there good? Great. Sigh. Its either take abuse of op classes who got there re work frist and are cleary taking advantage or quit play or years. what a choice. I love esp but for real. Drop all at once or not all ... This is crazy go to a bg. Have fun with 4 to 8 ww and dks
rexavgvsta56: Don't give a shit about community. Too much panic on the web.
gabrielkorb703: Great video, thanks for the automatic dubbing.
Falk1987: Make me happy to know that things are still going strong, if slightly slowed down. Hope it doesn't take too long for themn to fix the bug in the new Theives Guild Quest, so I can actually progress underneath the bank.
I can't wait for Warden and the Bow Skill line to get an overhaul.
bill-ESO: Good work and appreciated. For them to have such a huge staff and work for season 1 is not completed speaks volumes.. Heck they said it will take years to get the class reworks done and if that's not enough time they have more problems that what we now know. If you think about it bringing back the NM 2 more times and adding more zones (down the road) for dynamic encounters is (lack a better word) Lazy... I'm not saying I'm not empathetic to what happened, but if they say major delays it's a deeper problem...
ReaverofSouls7: As long as Necromancer, and vampire rework is coming, I am happy.
C-TofficialMusic: Isn't the team now the same size they were when they made the summer set isles?
rolandogarcia8704: Legit only thing i really care about is if they bring back night matket or not i loved that event
pindrop9536: It's very clear that ZOS have very little authority over what happens. I am glad they are still committed to working on it, but I am not sure what weight it carries in reality. Apparently voluntary redundancies were offered quite some time ago, so ZOS were aware of this before the roadmap was released, and I can only assume releasing it was an attempt to undermine the XBox announcement and save jobs. This is pure supposition but I imagine this game will be cancelled eventually to clear a path for TES6, but fortunately that is still years away.
griffinsdad9820: I like the positivity but you don't cut the productivity of something you plan on keeping around in half
TX_CHAINSAW: Bruh the classes just needed some minor adjustments. Idk why they went all out with subclassing n massive changes. I still miss some of the old DK animations.
