Seriously though, the general tone of the announcements is better but talk is cheap and I'm going to reserve judgement until ZOS starts delivering.

I do PR as part of my job. I've written similar things at the end of previous years where things were crap. Most of the leadership don't care.

I hate being negative, but I don't see much changing. Like wtf are seasons going to be? Free updates and then a battle pass with a paid version? It'll still be two dungeons, big zone, two dungeons, little zone. I guarantee it.

Cooperharley0204: I wish very much we had had this leadership team from COVID on. I really think the game would be in a significantly better place than that led by Rich & Matt (especially). Appreciate all the work you do man. The problem with optimism here is there's no foundation to place optimism on. They've been very good at "talking the talk" for years and then not "walking the walk." The game is in a very, very rough spot and it can absolutely be turned around just like you said with WoW. The only problem I see is their cadence. They're very, very slow with updates and with doing things where WoW had Blizzard, which was a massive company. They have rolling hotfixes for combat constantly where we're stuck for an entire quarter with their poor decisions. Tough to say man.

donniedarko86: Every time I come back to check in on how things are going with the game they seem to have taken a few steps forward but painfully, more steps back. I’m not in the club of people who are waiting for the game to fail, I sincerely want them to turn it around & I will gladly spend my free time on it again.
