zedorian6547: Im sorry but since FFXIV, FFXI, and OSRS were able to do crossplay then I see no excuse as to why ESO can’t do it aside from a combination of greed and laziness on behalf of everyone involved. It does nothing but hurt the game and it stunts the growth of the playerbase massively. ESO should easily be competing with FFXIV, OSRS, and WoW numbers but Zenimax just likes being in competition for FOURTH place with GW2. Maybe idk what I’m talking about but when I see it being done by major competitors (including the rumors of WoW making its way to consoles) I don’t buy any of this crap about “It’s too complicated”. Just do it.
notbrandon2888: Crossplay needs to happen especially to help pvp with their being a good few populated campaigns to choose from instead of 1 or 2. Add ons are a concern though

Agumon5: I really cannot understand how people after all this time still don't realize all the downsides of cross play. It is not as easy as "I just want to play with my friends." Please do some research before you start asking for this, especially if you're on console. It would destroy the economy on consoles. Add-ons on PC would provide those players with a significant advantage over console players in their ability to do just about anything efficiently. Leading to a higher percentage of console players being unable to afford things or to progress at the same rate. Currently console players playing with other console players are mostly on an even playing field. That would significantly change if they implemented crossplay with PC.

Cross play would also kill PvP on console. Unless the PVP stays separate and cross play only applies to PVE.

The only way cross play would possibly work is if it was between PlayStation and Xbox but not including PC.

As a concert player. I would 100% not want to be on PC servers. I like the more relaxed, laid back, quiet, and less sweaty community on console.

For PC players who wamt cross play, I have one question for you: Are you willing to give up add on support on PC to implement crossplay? If the answer is yes. Then as a console player I would be in favor of it. If the answer is no, then I will make as much noise as possible to prevent crossplay.
