5 Tips to SURVIVE ESOs Night Market

currentlykent4593: Digging the NM as well:)

If you die in combat with a group and go into the ghost form, you can resurrect other players while still in ghost form. Pretty handy.

Kcee1105: You and Jake clips is my fav eso content creator ️ very informative!

JerryDechant: I think the key points are, this content is not intended for everyone, it IS intended for those who want to delve into optimizations and play mechanics. While anyone can enter the event zone, not everyone is equipped to find it enjoyable. I'm personally not properly motivated or equipped to enjoy this event zone, so I've opened the extra rooms to the house and gotten beyond 10k while also completing the Golden Pursuits, which, for me, is a thank you very much, I'm done with that event and zone.

jakraven692: BIS gear helps a lot. You do need to be in groups cause very few players can solo stuff in there. Then if all you're wanting to do is the district side quests just take a NB in so you can stealth aound. If you're not on a NB, make a ton of invisibility potions that also give you a speed boost.

Fernando-ku9gd: Obrigado por deixar dublagem automática

anihyrelles6870: Ironically it was being primarily a solo player that made me able to survive the NM without much issue. A good solo build capable of doing basic dungeons should be built for sustain and health in the first place; glass cannon builds are pretty terrible for solo because if you die, the enemy resets, you don't have the luxury of other people keeping the battle going while you revive. All of my solo builds have all attributes put into health and sets like Hexos Ward that provide shielding whenever you crit.

This Market is the first time I've ever been able to really flex with my tank too! It's been an absolute BLAST being able to learn how to tank tougher bosses without the pressure of failing a trial and I've even made a couple new friends from random groups. At least on PC NA, the community in NM has been super friendly and helpful and group finder fills up in under a minute.

maratgumerov3523: Vampire stage 4 also helps

lyladenise: I wanted to love the NM but when I found it depended on being with selfish, greedy PUG group runners and such, all hope for it died for me, nice house though. Ojr guild hads not sdet a regular time to run together so that kills NM for me too. The Fortress at the end of the Solstice campaign showed the same problem, selfish,non-group oriented runners and users leaching off others efforts and so NM is finished for me. I made a totally stealth character and wandered around the areas and was bored to death as I love to fight in a GOOD group and so I am back to the regular game content. Nice try by the creators but I think NM is the wrong direction.

MrDangle: Yes, yes, yes! Know your basic mechanics!

MrSmidge: Nice video brah, thank you. Going to try my warden out now

StonedViper: wear the Macabre Vintage Set some defensive set of your choice and the reaving blows CP.

thutesting1185: Great info here, it is indeed a combination of gear skill lines and above all, doing mechanics. I would add that if you join a group with a real healer role, avoid running everywhere and position near the healer ( in front of healer ideally) as much as possible since they give heals and buffs

Dezhavu13: Even with a poor player, I got what I need from Skittering, need 3 more splinters from Parch, and have about half from the really nasty place with the insta-kill areas.

I have had a lot of good luck finding roaming groups that I just tag along after. Doing that has earned all the splinters for the Skittering area. The other areas are harder to find roaming groups for though. Even without grouping, the other players have been very generous with their revives.

Lol, I was thrilled that my Templar managed to solo a single mob that had gotten separated from its group. I have had the most luck with the Arcanist. She survives longer than any of the other classes I have tried so far.

Unfortunately, during fights, my roll/dodge takes a nap and no matter how much I hit it, it does not wake up. (But let me run through a friendly town, it occurs regularly.)

I will take a look at your warden build to see where I can improve mine (which means completely, lol). Thanks!

ericwilson1421: Pure class sorcerer here. Generally for the trash mobs, I use storm cursed revenge paired with Hexos’ Ward. For extra damage shields you can do iceheart, but when I want more damage and it seems like I’m surviving OK I will slot velothi instead.

But with the set up having the two sets with damage shield plus the sorcerer damage shield, paired with storm curse, which dishes out a ton of damage if you have a lot of shock skills, to mobs, the trash is easy to solo. With a group, it’s very manageable. Critical surge gives you the healing so you don’t need to slot pale order and then you have reaving blows as another option generally with the three shields one of them is always refreshing so I don’t take a lot of damage from my health pool.

Shield stacking is the way to go if you’re able to

Torchwick109: Thanks for the advice maybe this will help me a lot more, but I have 2 quick questions, 1st do you think Brairheart, Leeching Plate and Ring of the Pale Order be a good combo? 2nd 8:19 what Personality does your toon have equiped here?

RedBattalion9000: Just 3 days later from launch...It had became "lonely place".

I've never seen like that event so far....

GRAVEGAMING: Great tips! The night market is a bit challenging, but I have been enjoying it!

anninaut: And how do you survive the night market mentally??

individual116: I hate the night market. It’s so bad. They need match making for stuff like this and clear objectives for the group the accomplish. I noticed when i played that I had quests that i couldn’t do solo unless I just ran past everything and died, but when i was grouped nobody else had those quests. It made no sense to do the quests so i just gave up.

I have a 34k hp 33k armor solo build that I made just for the night market but i just think the content is so bad I’ve just given up. I tanked it a bunch the second day and we killed all the bosses in 1 zone but I haven’t done anything more.

averagemamil4523: Too hard to solo - really don’t like to group, tried 3 PUGs got wiped. They need to fix the difficulty with something like this new overland challenge levels - give those who group well and the sweats the harder challenges and bigger prizes -for me this is a casual game, it was not fun, won’t be going back.

354sd: Its over complicated and awkward.

Not much fun at all.

mike94560: I hate the Night Market.

354sd: I still haven't found a group and even started anything yet .

Everyone saying its hard to survive I wouldn't know,I join groups that can't be found or just dissolve before game even begins.

The closest I got was waiting with a group to beg8n a trial and couldn't go through a portal because I didn't have a key.

James-u3y6o: Don't have to worry about it if you don't play it fuckin hate that place primarily solo and play odd times so fml

Euthymia: Those Silver Rose Realm Shapers scared me until you showed me what they're up to. Now I stroll up to them, bash them while they're getting ready to unleash their tantrum, and they are surprisingly easy to melt after that. NM has gotten me to dust off fighting techniques that I usually get by without using. Interrupting is a biggie, also stealth. I do already hold block when bosses charge up big AOE's, or roll out of them something that's left me alive when others are on the floor. It might help explain the whines of "I keeeep dyyyyiiiinnng!" Maybe they're used to just melting everything before it has a chance to get to the harder attacks. I found that once I got used to NM, I was able to take my NM build around to world bosses that used to beat on me pretty hard and nuke them.
