BigMac87963: I remember my first playthrough in 2022. I loved Agheel and Smarag, but Ekzykes BROKE me. That scarlet rot aoe was so punishing that it took me several attempts. After that and the dragons in the Moonlight Altar, I realized I wasn’t a fan of the dragon fights. At least we got Fortissax, Placidusax, and Bayle

mt2r-music: I still don’t get why they gave the Erdtree Avatars the Asylum Demon moveset. Not only did they already reuse that same 2011 moveset in DS3 for a fun reference as a mini boss already but also copied and pasted the Erdtree Avatar fight about a hundred times over the entire map. They obviously treated it with respect during its DS3 encounter by hiding it on a singular enemy somewhere off the road but in ER they said f it.

justasinglesummon3912: I don’t mind the reuse in Elden ring but I would really enjoy a bit more boss variety in Nightreign. My theory is mostly that it’s more work than expected and they also want people to try out the other soulsborne titles and were scared that including everything in Nightreign would make the other titles obsolete to newer and younger players of the series

IronForce-ff2qx: I know the answer is probably “Dragons” but “Ulcerated Tree Spirits” feel like they’re EVERYWHERE. They’re such a unfairly tough and annoying boss to fight, yet, you re-encounter them 10 Times!(they’re also in Nightreign now so that number can climb even higher)

Worst of all, the Rot Variant in Elphael is MANDATORY to beat if you want to finish Millicent’s quest(& get the Unalloyed Gold Needle)

xian1978: Funnyly enough, I didn't know the Bell Bearing Hunter was a thing until my third playthrough of the game. I was coming and going from a particular vendor for arrows and in a particular ocassion I arrive at the shack and he was not there and this dude appeared. When I defeated him I got a bell bearing and I thought he had killed the vendor and that I got the vendor's bell, but nope, I came back and the vendor was there. But I got really surprised the first time this happened. Well, in my fourth playthrough I found a shield I had never found before, so this game never ceases to amaze me.

Eldan-l0rd: the fact that the ulcerated tree spirit isn't even that overused as a boss and yet i feel like there is still too much of them in the game as boss fights shows how bad they are imo. also funny that night's calvaries are basically everywhere in elden ring and i forget about their existence more than most other bosses in the game

ETY20: Question - some of the dragons I've attempted to fight have flown away (cowards!). Do you eventually find them again? Example - the one behind Caria manor.

With how most of them drop an Ash of War, I feel like it's a gravely missed opportunity to do the Fort Haight Knight thing and let them use that Ash of War to spice up their moveset. Ice Spear and Phantom Slash match particularly nicely, I would reckon.
