Where are the Lords in Elden Ring Nightreign? shorts eldenringnightreign eldenring fromsoftware

rod99ttett90: Summons in elden ring were tanks but in nightreign your teammates are as squishy as you.

highlord2841: They’re probably doing solo runs

kevincrawford9119: Honestly everyone I’ve grouped up with has been pretty decent, only a few exceptions. I beat all Nightlords queuing with randoms and it only took me a little over 25 hours. The hardest part of Nightreign is not getting disconnected from the servers.

AP-gv4ov: Most of them didn't buy this game a lot of hard core souls vets passed on this i couldn't convince my irl friends to get this and they got me into souls games when bloodborne dropped

asher4584: most of those people are... wait for it... playing with their FRIENDS

EternalTraveler11163: So a friend and I have been with Elden Ring since the start and we’ve gotten really good at it, we’ve done some crazy stuff. So we decided to get Nightreign and since it’s three people, we got another one of our friends to get it, now this guy took 200 attempts to defeat the first tree sentinel in Elden Ring, but just having him in Nightreign is far better than a random because of communication. I think communication is REALLY important at Nightreign.

tomjames9681: All those guys you’re talking about already shut up when we got SOTE.

Fatty_A: Doing solo runs. Multiplayer fromsoft isn't something I'm interested in

ericbigboynoto1191: I need to get nightreign to help you guys, I am no one, but all my life I've played every souls game....finally......my worth will be known.

chriskoloski32: So far the only god I ran into was an ironeye player named 404deathnotfound. Dude practically soloed most bosses and I only had to help him once

KaizerWarrex: Solo running is easier than dealing with 2 dead weights. If comms were a thing I'd probably do multiplayer more and teach people how to play.

TheBarovianDuck: I love seeing people complain about randoms. With my friend, as a duo, with one random, we couldn't defeat the first Night Lord for days. I ran solo with randoms, and had no issue. Even less after I got Duchess unlocked.

I go in with MY plan, and run it to fruition, until I link back up with my randoms, or they follow me. Maybe I have a little better practical experience because this reminds me a lot of the "Remnant From the Ashes" tower mode, but it really isn't that hard with randoms.

Here's my steps:

1. Grab 2 nearest Churches of Merika, killing ads along the way

2. Kill the two nearest bosses, then level up

3. Figure out where my randoms are going, and link up with them there, killing whatever is between me and them

Sometimes I don't even need to do number 3, because when I set my first ping, everyone goes there. Usually end up over level 5 by the time I fight the night 1 boss.

I've gotten to the final boss with zero coms with randoms, when I can't do that with coms with my friend. Gonna end that fucker today after I get off work.

Oh, and I'm not the type to do those challenge runs, and I haven't even beat default Elden Ring. I have zero idea how some people are struggling with randoms.

Vismark1171: I genuinely wasnt even interested in this as soon as it was meant to be co-op. I'd rather play normal elden ring again and if I want to play with friends I'd pick Helldivers

fili0938: I prefer solo. Too many randoms just stand around instead of going to new locations.

pickyou223: Respectfully I heard multiplayer and remembered the PvP netcode and started my 75th playthrough

Cheeseman12822: As someone who has done a rl1 in elden ring run this game is simply just really hard since you cant throw yourself at the boss 20 times in a row to learn it

martinwalker6145: The real reason for me is I'd rather play with people I know, more than with randoms

tobiclarence5236: A lot of people cheesed or where cared by online players yhis game exposes everyone

leonidus3147: I am an avid souls enjoyer. Over 5k hours easily on them. Not individually but I have about 1k on ds2. (PvP was fun fight me ab it) and 1.5 on 3 alone. Elden ring I have about 700. This dlc is not my cup of tea. Cool concept. Not really a big hit with their older audience I feel though. I like customizing shit and PvP mainly now. Pve is really only fun to me the first. Maybe second go around. PvP keeps me around and honestly it’s one of if not the main factor of the games longevity and community after the masses have passed. This game is different than a typical souls. And from what I know. Has no PvP. So my enjoyment would be very limited. I will not be purchasing it. I feel a lot of souls veterans feel the same. Especially the ones you’re mentioning. I too would have liked to gatekeep this community harder. My reasons are very long so unless someone genuinely wants to know have a good day.

alixtzh5503: Funny thing is, elden ring is kinda hard, folks say its easy because it is by comparison to the other fromsoft games so if you got really good at those, elden ring was a cake walk

HuLo-kh8lq: Honestly its my personal 10/10 im either playing with my boys or solo runs and having a blast genuinely cant wait to see more(also I've platinumed all the soulsborne/soulslike)

asher5990: Come on man give me a break my game boy’s battery died and I ran out of milk

A-ks1nj: I must have been really lucky because I have not had that many problems with my solo queue teammates

lordofshadows2124: As an avid Souls fan who fully embraces that Elden ring is plenty hard, my preferred play style is throwing myself at the same enemies over and over until I can kill them without issue, getting to the next enemy type, and repeating. This also applies to bosses. This does not apply as well to nightreign bosses. The entire expedition is one huge boss run up, but you don’t start the run up with your kit. So yeah, I’ve only killed one boss.

XN24-t9b: Solo is easier but honestly aint fun, got genuine joy helping buddies that are casuals. Arguing and making theories on lore, its fun

KugaN7: Having fun, but the fact that randoms leave when you dont go to their ping, that second is off the charts.

veteranzshadow5374: The level system probably hard carried those guys. Im not afraid to admit thats probably what got me through it. Granted I reran elden ring and beat it at a lower level but no way could i ever beat it without getting hit
