P.S my wet dream is Miyadzaki take some inspiration from For Honor/WoW battlegrounds to have NxN not just fighting but doing some team activities (zone captures, carry flags from base to base, etc) wrap it into ingame lore and viola, you'll finally give these old-ass PvPers their place to be (not forgetting about invasions and fight clubs either)

Turaloid: you set your expectations too high every time froms anounce something. it has been three years, if they wanted to add 6 player limit, they would already do it. don't expect more than they have already shown and you might get surprised

spectr__: I would already be happy with some fixes for small things that were completely forgotten, like the Not being able to infuse Serpentbone blade, the length of Estoc and Cleanrot's being obviously switched, a throwing weapons needing a buff, etc.

A multiplayer overhaul or making NG more interesting would be amazing, but I'm not expecting they will pull of a SotFS with Tarnished Edition.

Either way it will be a gut-punch if they only deliver what they advertised so far.

s-nooze: Nintendo isn't interested in multiplayer, they are interested in Fromsoft money.

dadontheinternet: It's going to be huge, EmoJon. Every starting class is getting a complete update to nothing.

Every area is getting no overhauls. Every Ash of War, every spell and miracle, EVERYTHING is getting nothing.

There's never been another game that has received this kind of attention. Every weapon has been reevaluated and they have all received no changes. Every armor piece is getting its values not-adjusted.

I think you're underselling just how much nothing we're getting with Tarnished Edition

- 4 new Armor Sets

-2 New Classes

- 3 Torrent skins

- New weapons / ashes

The rest is a total mystery as to what we might be getting.

Perhaps questlines, QOL features, Talismans?

It could be anything.

But I will say that I would 100% also be dissapointed if I had to pay 10$ for this ( confirmed content ) so far.

There will most likely be something else that will make it worth I'm sure, but what that is, total mystery.

-i would DEFINITEY watch (and participate) in a taunter's run (as long as its on PC), you should make a community poll if viewers should join you as one coop summon (2v2s)

-you NEED to see jeenine's switch 2 video, the start of it shows how LAUGHABLY horrible DS1 is on switch (makes me expect duskbloods to fail just due to netcode)

-im REALLY hoping they add something multiplayer-wise with TE, but honstely i'd expect maybe some cut content and /or questlines to be added like vyke's or kale's or asimi's quests would be really cool

-i am definitely expecting SOMETHING other than armor, weapons and torrent skins but i have no idea how much to expect of them

-from the marketing ive seen, it'll probably be free like the colosseum "dlc"

-3v3 zones would be GREAT, like the madness forest was totally a missed opportunity for something multiplayer related

dogbogs: the elden ring pvp community huffs almost as much copium as diehard halo fans do. you're going to get a few weapons and armor sets lol. fromsoftware would have expanded on pvp already if they planned on doing that, the game's 3 years old and hasn't been updated since october of last year

Coliseum could do with optional bots too. More modes very much yes.

I can't criticize, I'd pay just to have the ability to dye my armor different colors.
