Morgannin: I'm glad I don't fly anymore. In like 2011 I had a Delta flight home for Christmas and the flight got cancelled for mechanical problems. They comped my hotel stay but since so many people had to spend the night, I got to the hotel like 2 hours before I needed to be back at the airport so I just took a shower and watched TV.

At the time their policy was that weather (aka "acts of God") only received 50% compensation, but apparently that's not how they roll anymore.
