comsox4915: i mean, the reason that no-one uses the carian sorcery sword is because it's kind of a jack of all trades, master of none weapon. usually, that can be fine, but if you want a weapon moveset and a sorcery moveset, well, you have two hands in elden ring. you could just put a staff in the left and a weapon in the right.

thrusting swords, including the carian sorcery sword, barely benefit from two-handing at all as they rarely scale off of strength. the only benefit the sorcery sword has is that you get spells along side the two-hand moveset, but you're sacrificing both weapon attack power (gets significantly less damage than other magic infused weapons), spell damage (gets significantly less sorcery scaling than other staves), special weapon bonuses (boosts for groups of spells on your staff), choice of weapon skill (other thrusting swords are infusible with other ashes) and you even lack a heavy attack (rogier's rapier gets a good, unique heavy attack alongside the most damage on a magic infusion).

overall, you're literally better off with a staff with a good boost or good spell scaling in left hand and rogier's rapier with whichever ash you want. it even requires 2 less dex.

Vlad47000: The Sacrificial Axe is really great for early and mid-game utility builds, or if you're just feeling lazy just put either Sacred Blade or Prayerful Strike on it

enrico_31-54: The pve side of this list doesn’t really make a ton of sense. Most weapons on this list that are actually lesser known are that way for good reason (at least in pve). From a pvp lens everything mostly checks out

vis a vis the Carian Thrusting Sword: Best thrusting sword, not even close, don't @ me. One of my absolute favorite builds in the game is CTS off-hand Main-Gauche with Parry. You've got thrusting sword R1s, spells on R2, powerstance on L1, and parry on L2. You do everything with one weapon pairing, it's fantastic stuff.

phobosad4661: Great video! Only thing I disagree on it the great mace, while having incredible damage, it's on the shorter end of great hammers. And for pvp you need the range on them for the cr1 and the roll catches with the r2. So I'd pick large club, which is also a very rare weapon.

FushigiFriend: I didnt know the great mace had such high poise damage. I always figured it was just outclassed by the great stars because bleed and healing with similar damage numbers
