SeventhGod77: See I like the idea that after a while in limveild the tarnished would’ve learned all the rules and become essentially a god because they have access to everything. Part of what makes nightreign interesting is the limitations put on your loot and the tarnished just doesn’t have that. Not to mention the ability to summon spirits like revenant with 0 downsides. Like not only does he always have the ability to have the best possible items/spells for any given night lord but he can also jump them with his band of five teleporting royal knights, his two royal assassins with unblockable blades as pitch black as the night, or just two of himself.

siegfriedxiii: Honestly, when I got nightreign, I had thought nightreign was the aftermath of the Ranni quest line. Mean it would kinda make sense considering the true nightlord has the moonlight greatsword, which is only given to the contorts of Ranni's bloodline, it would stand to reason that when we became the Elden Lord with the Ranni ending that we could've become the nightlord. But of course my theory was already disproven when the creator said nightreign ran parallel to Elden Ring.
