I don't think she was brought to life by Chloe's desire to live. Chloe loved that doll a lot, and in a lot of mythology, strong feelings of love or hatred can give spirit to objects. I think Daphne came to life to try to protect Chloe, but had not fully "matured" to actually do anything when she was killed since Dphne was moving prior to Chloe actually dying.

(I have no real evidence to support this theory, except maybe the fear/doubt we conquered in her remembrances was her inability to protect Chloe)

There's just something majestic about bringing life back to the Roundtable little by little by giving Menial the flowers for it to plant, the golden sprout to the Priestess to light up the Grace back to its former glory. And the last fight... even if simple enough, the location is absolutely beautiful. And, the main game lore implications are also quite interesting.

What did he feel as he watched his tribe start murduring each other in cold blood?

How many of his clan did he have to kill to survive?

How many of them he had to bury before starting his journey?

A journey that ends in the endless dunes.

Clutching a keepsake of a treasure he no longer remembers.
