Shopping Cartartezac: I've been seeing everyone completely ignoring the analyse parry, I've gotten so much use out of it, it's so good
WakandIan4life: 1. Thank you for making this video.
2. People, PLEASE clear the starting camp and get to level 2.
Edit: Seeing as more people are noticing this, here’s a thought I just had; For the demon duo fight on Night 1, kill the Demon in Pain first! The demon you kill first has its moveset absorbed by the survivor, giving you a MUCH easier fight on Night 2 with prolonged lasers that give huge damage windows as opposed to Fireball and high-damage ranged attack spam to keep track of!
No shade, but the DLC bosses really show who played previous games and who didn’t
Ace-i5r: Here's an interesting one. If you have your ult active and someone gets grabbed, you can still heal them while they are getting grabbed by attacking. I got grabbed and actually reached 0 health, but my teammate was hitting the boss and full healed me from 0 health. After the grab animation finished, I wasn't downed.
Also, if you want to level up the gravity stones, don't use them. Use warming stones and starlight shards instead to level them up, since those are much easier to find and use. Then you can save your level 3 gravity stones for whatever you have planned (the gravity stone fan is insane on gladius)
brojiro208: Level 3 boiled crab plus turtle neck is so nice on night 3
Wisdomv3: All this info for free gonna make me cry tears of joy
Jari_Kir: At first I was convinced Undertaker was my absolute favorite (as she is insanely fun!), but damn, Scholars voice- ...gameplay is so nice, I love this guy.
I noticed I generally prefer supportiv classes. Guardian is fun as the last line for the team, but plays a bit too defensive for me. But Scholar? It feels like you are the manager of the team: your job is to enable your teammates to succeed brilliantly. You control the rythm of the fight from the background, and your teammates can have fun going eye to eye with the bosses. Especially Undertakers. What a great character.
palmmoot: Both of these new characters are so much fun
cloroxenthusiast5299: I feel the cross section between Guardian Mains and Scholar mains is gonna be high. Thanks for the video btw this is great
clankymocha: bro locked in
Cédric-B-k9z: A thing that wasn't mentioned in the video is that the damage over time effect on his ult granted by the relic effect will heal you and your teammates with every tick, this will allow you and your teammates to get close and wail on enemies because you heal so fast with it.
SunbleachedAngel: So far the hardest part of Scholar is to remember which button applies the buff to me and which debuff to enemy, I still can't remember
TaneKoden: One thing I noticed about the ult is that healing will also damage enemies. When I was doing the scholar's story mode, there is a part where you need to fight a boss and two adds. When I popped ult, and then healed, I noticed all the enemies also took damage.
jaquanepatterson2537: don't underestimate the throwing knives, at tier 3 they can reduce enemy resistances stacking, and a little unknown thing about the scholar is that using his analysis skill to collect enemies upgrades it to faster charge on enemies
Big_Buppo: Scholar is peak, anyone who says otherwise just isn't trying hard enough honestly.
TrollingJar: His consumables level up by category, so even the weaker consumables can be beneficial as exp fodder. You can easily get a full stack of throwing knives and use them on the first camp or objective and get them to level 3.
edit: also crab and flesh override each other, so be selective about which/when you use them
protonjones54: loving the baldur's gate music
sobervision1049: Onlywaifu calling this character ass from a brief gameplay trailer is one of the funniest things I've seen from this community
doublell3451: This is the best guide on scholar out there. Ive watched a handful of other guides and its all the same basic stuff the game tells you. Thank you for showing some additional uses and playstyles, and also the weaknesses. Its good to fully understand your nightfarers role
Slickbackimpala: Scholar is absolutely sick, his arcane scaling is incredibly powerful even though physically he doesn’t do much damage but his status build up is so quick, I did a run with him with a cold blood thorn whip and a scarlet rot rapier with level 3 fire pots and literally nothing stood a chance. Communion with draining enemy hp helps so much to gain runes too.
brentramsten249: bro is trying to reach 4k subscribers by the end of the year and it seems hell be reaching 5k by the end of tomorrow
CrzyLion: fun fact about his feint iframes: it works for the heavy thrusting and curved sword feints too.
considering this includes the bloody helice and the bleed curved sword, this is very naice.
Good_n1ght_Irene: I think being called a "fucking legend" is the hughest honor an australian can bestow. I feel so appreciated
