Secrets Revealed Forging an Epic Rapier from Elden Ring

warcrownforge9719: What a great time it was making this sword! Matt it wildly talented and a great teacher to boot!

Skaman_1978: I would love to see Inigo Montoya's sword from the princess Bride

zachfrickel: So, no joke, I am literally playing Elden ring with a Rapier main hand setup with cold infusion and carian scepter offhand with dark moon and cold magic. I just love the look, speed, and style of the rapier.

Great work!!

diamondcreepah: You should definitely do more in-shop collaborations. Videos promoting other creators are fun, but there's something particularly special about seeing two separate masters working on one piece, applying their different expertises and ingenuities along the way

Michiganmoose69: The knowledge and time all of you put into all of your projects are top shelf and very interesting to watch.

skipmage: Noice! I love how this looks so unadorned, like it's quality is all it needs to be an elegant weapon.

Joe___R: The next time you are out of gas and want to heat up a rod in place, you can do it with a tig welder. Establish the arc and move it quickly back and forth. It takes a little practice to get good at it, but it works well on anything 1/4" and smaller.

cae2487: Well Matt you and Justin killed it. Seeing you work your magic on the anvil and the grinder is always so impressive. Thanks for sharing the experience with us all.

TheDarknessBane: Right on! Been really into Side swords and Rapiers, swept hilt swords lately. You guys should consider making something from Clair Obscur.

brucenye6137: Luv it,so glad to see yall back!

jamesyamamoto5155: Beautiful piece matt! It's really been a pleasure to see your skills develop over the years. I've been watching you and Ilya since the man at arms days. I can tell you've really honed your skills and have your own style. Can't wait to see what you make next!

VenGardGator: That is an ingenious method of tumbling without the tumbling machine.

EliotChildress: I’ve been wanting to see a swept hilt rapier for sooo long. I’m stoked

mmancino1982: Induction tech is wild

LOVEMUFFIN_official: I saw someone comment about making Inigo Montoya’s Six Fingered sword. That is such a great idea. Along a similar line of thinking, Commodore Norrington’s sword from Pirates of the Caribbean would also be wildly cool to see come to life.

derskalde4973: Just had a random thought while watching: I've seen all kinds of blades as a flammberge, Zweihänders, knives, rapiers, but what would a Flammberge Katana

Katana_Gryphon: Love it! Plain but yet elegant at the same time.

ChrisLeeW00: Yes I was hoping you’d make this sword. Very much love the team’s rapiers you sell.

TrevorHigginsDustysqueak: Ah the old Mt. Phillip shop. Epic build, great video!

poquito1986: I would love to see what technique they used to make this type of hilts back then

SwordScience: Excellent build! The antiquing came out great. It looks ancient already. Love it!

StilgarAstartes: I may suck at Elden Ring - but that Rapier sure doesn't! Great work - love the weathering/finish. It was great to see you work with Justin, love to see more collabs.

yogas6322: Ropera de lazo, just amazing and beautiful.

CedarloreForge: Awesome work gentlemen!

montlejohnbojangles8937: Awwww hell yes let's go rapiers are my jam
