Shopping Cartchrayez: I love that for Radahn, patches allows himself to be summoned, and then a few seconds later peaces out. “Oh, I thought this summon was for an easy gank, I’m not helping with this one”
Androidsquid31: Actually in DS2 patches is the guy who designed the frigid outskirts.
ChaoticGoodPeasant23: "Why do you always kill Patches"
"Its not personal. We go way back."
Fluid1227: Patches noping out of the radahn fight actually killed me on my first attempt because it just perfectly hit my funny bone and sent me into a laughing fit
artsydragonlady: He's also kind of
atomicbaconbits6695: I believe Patches shares a VA with Maughlin in DS2
NikoviskFR: Ds3 Patches is the best in the series. His appearences and character development that goes all the way from early game to the literal end of the world in the Ringed City is just unmatched. His little friendship with Greirat (also one of my favorite NPCs of all time) is also a very cool detail.
JimJK: I accidentally killed patches in the tomb of giants because I saw a figure, panicked, and attacked him lmao.
snowspark9512: People who never played a souls game
"THAT BASTARD!!!!"
People who played a souls game
"Ooooh patches you bastard you."
Plague_Doctor_Paul: He was first in Armored Core. He always kept his distance and spayed you down with MGs
jtjelani: Dark Souls 3 DLC might be his best appearance imo. Lapp's story is pretty wholesome and kimda makes sense with the narrative of reality being put into a blender
AsherHoward-j9s: Patches IS META
THE GREAT FATHER BURD HAS GIVEN HIS CHILDREN MORE AWESOME CONTENT
Wojciech_Leszczyński: If you say you're a cleric and escape the hole he kicks you in, he will be hostile and you have to kill him. Which I did!
Kicking people to their death and steal their belongings is one thing, but being a faith hater is where I draw the line.
Praetor13: And in Sekiro we kinda sorta have him as the bandit we meet in both Hirata estate and in Ashina outskirts just before Ogre. I mean, sure, there’s no cliff kicking there, but to his credit he probably understands that plan may not go so well against a guy with a grappling hook.
scoobertjew: Praise the sun \o/
ryderchappell: Hold up WHEN DOES HE LOCK YOU IN FIRELINK??? He was locked at cathedral for me after giving seig his onion back
TheUnalloyedTwin: Cheers For That!
☆⌒(*^∇゜)v
cbl1199: I liked how in Elden Ring after the whole Volcano manor thing, he just return to being the boss of those rogues and try to beat you, and the way to pacify him is to beg for mercy, which give you an unique emote. Gotta love the cheeky bastard
Curiosity-CL: He never survived each time I came across him… every single game I proudly killed him
geovaneoliveira915: Patches is our dear friend.
witherlord111: He also appears in armored core as Patch.
genesiswhiteX90: fun fact, i didnt know about his existence untill ds3 and there i encountered him on a ledge and kcicked him of of it without reason so i got the onion armor, and then a friend told me who he was and that i did good in killing him
jurekis9177: Patches beat multiples cycles of linking, just to screw you up
In DS2 we learn about The First Sin, but not having Patches is The Biggest Sin
jonathanjoestarwithpluck4930: Pate is interesting because through his questline with Creighton, you actually have a lot of people defending him against another character who he’s wronged, something I can’t see anyone doing with the original Patches. Granted a lot of others join Creighton in ganking him, but I still I like that DS2 really questions your morality but asking you to choose the lesser of two evils.
nthprawn9313: He’s also sorta in Nightreign in the form of clothes
YOURteacher_100: And in armoured core, he is one
