Shopping Cartshemarsmith9262: My homie said he doesn't like the map because there's too much to do and he lost his runes too many times. Like bro we'll get better I'm tired of Limveld
reyesflores1351: Players want a new map, we get a new map, players: i hate this map
gopackgo1412: the best video on the new map by far - main thing stay in the middle of the map - 3 churches, and at least 3 crystals day 1. then kick butt day 2 :)
heidivalentine1004: It’s not as hard as soon as you realize you can’t just jump off anything anymore. Lol. PLEASE STOP QUITTING PEOPLE
prc6375: I really want to know all the secrets and drops we have in the castles (I don't mean the battle towers). In any run I did, I feel likely I barely scratched the surface of what is in there. One time we were doing well and I found the Golden Hippo with spikes, but unfortunately he destroyed my team and the run ended... I think people are afraid to explore it with randoms because if is VERY easy to get lost and have to do it alone. Recovering your runes if you die inside is another nightmare...
shukuffxi: This map is basically FromSoft artwork. In terms of design and game play it's amazing. A marvel almost. There's just one problem:
The vast majority of the player base has neither the mental fortitude or patience. It's a 9/10 map (some of the invasions are going to be nigh undoable because of spawn timing/location, or God help you if Caligo ice starts raining down while you're on a big spirit spring jump and kills you from full health), it demands a lot of learning and knowledge and a lot of awareness.
I'd guess 6 months before you have a 50/50 chance of getting a team that has knowledge enough to know you need to break the crystals on day one and pays attention to their positioning so they don't get stuck unable to get out of the rain without dying. There's simply too much going on for the average player who pops in for 5-10 matches a week.
On the other hand if you encounter solid players or players who can dedicate the time to learning it does go smoother and it's honestly a blast how fast you can tear through things especially if you get the crystals early. That said, if you're playing with randoms right now? Good luck. I've done it maybe 15 times or so, I'd say about 50% have someone quit within the first 5-10 minutes, getting to Day II boss being Lv.10 or below makes up another 30%, another 10% for people who quit late for various obvious reasons on the run and then 10% that make it to Day III. Wherein most people encounter a new boss for the first time or one of their first few times and understandably lose.
If you want to beat Balancers or Dreglord currently the smartest thing you can do is do a different Shifting Earth so you can basically do the normal map with the new POIs and some new bosses. That way you can learn the fights.
schwartzprime3045: You know, a lot of the time the video guides to stuff like this feel like they're telling you the obvious, this im halfway in and i learned like 3 things i didn't know already, so thank you.
Small edit, by the time i learned around 6 new things i was only 4 minutes into the video, thank you extra.
j.m.3600: Dreglord is my favorite fight in all of Elden ring
Guy-Sensei93: The same people that will call this map repetitive will also just run the same exact route every game clearing evergaols on the old map and never doing any other strategy because “it’s the meta”
mythstar3151: In the north eastern spawn a merchant some times appear after breaking the curse next to the smithing table.
Gunzerkingidiot: It's a combo of new map needing to be learned. Crazy complicated paths. And having to hunt the crystals to get the buff to then try and get good drops from the towers.
slavprincedupa375: theres 2 lobsters at church one is north and one is south both drop orb but i think thatsouth one has a better chance to drop legendaries
alanalbrecht1184: Nice.
infinit33: 100 percent win rate ehhh. Depends on the team lol
discord_apex2362: There is also potential crystal spawn in the western ruins - it's on the top layer and just kind of in the ruins. Not sure if this is worth going out of the way to check tho
benjamn8557: Thanks the routing is helpful
timelineenjoyer: me regetting spending all my everdark sigils on relics, and needing to farm everdark bosses again. of course it’s friggin Gladius and Augur..
looks like i’m “farming” augur (i am 1 for 3 in past day lol)
LavieRosentsvit: anyone wanna play? im tired of chinese randoms
Comicbookdad21: 6-7
mehrdadk1980: Worst video ever. Bro talks about South Cathedral but even don't bother to show its location on the map, so that he can bait you to watch another video. Blocked forever!
arrow-1237: I wasn’t playing at the beginning of nightreign so for me I find it really fun to experience the learning curve with everyone, we lose a lot of run but the on you do win feel so good
KienTranTonmat: Good guide!
LurkingProvidence: Great video! I'd love to learn more about the tunnels on the dlc map
6ren7: great guide
draakjuh: I've done the map a few times now with randoms now, and only 1 time managed to even get the curse lifted
