al_CTB017: My favourite Lore is still Nepheli - I’m a sucker for characters in horror-adjacent worlds who’re still dedicated to helping people & making the world a better place.
Griffydidnothingwrong: Cosplaying as a Hornsent in Messmer's jar people clinic is diabolical work.
johannes3645: messmer & melina are the oldest, godwyn, morgott and mohg come after, then ranni, radahn and rykard are the second youngest, and lastly miquella and melania are the youngest
LichKing-zj8ob: Godwyn's lore is the most unanswered lore of the Elden ring
giangavilanes8649: "No", as cold as that is, It fits in the lore ruining all of our expectations about something amazing about Godwyn to happen, instead death is what It is
Detriax: Also Messmer and Melina are probably the first children, born even before Godwyn, Morgott, and Mohg
a.d.7052: Godwyn should have been the final boss of the dlc.
Miquella tried to revive him but his souless self corrupted the new body and turned it into the giant fish horror creature
goodlooking8936: And the one about Godwyn is the scariest one of them all
Smoke-by-the-Shadow: Ye Messmer and Melina would be the first born children, possibly around the same time. Melina was born burned and bodiless while Messmer was born with the flame inside him, he burned his sisters body in the womb. Messmer being the older of the two.
Detriax: My favorite bit of lore is Midra. The fact that, he has been tortured for an unknowable amount of time. Broken, impaled, starving. And he still hasn’t given into madness. And for what?
For love. He loved Nanaya, and only when driven over the brink by us does he go against her declaration.
Yakadzawa: Thank you for reminding of this masterpiece
PhantomTheObeserver1857: I hate the fact Godwyn wasnt a boss in the dlc.
zerumsiru5204: Honestly, I don't mind Godwyn not coming back; it never made sense for him to do so in the first place. His soul is dead, but his body is not, where as it's the inverse for Ranni; her soul can be bound to objects (for example, her dolls). There was a short time that his soul comes back, and it's during Fia's quest; it's why we have to kill the deathblight dragon.
gedoplanet: I do like how it’s now detailed that Godwyn is actually transforming into a giant Basilisk. He’ll be big enough to spew deathblight into the atmosphere directly soon
draketinjum428: Yeah I had that thought awhile back. I mentioned on the discord that Godrick is probably able to graft limbs because of his shaman blood. I was flamed so bad for even suggesting such a thing
RetroVideoGamer23: I love your content bro, keep it up. Hopefully Fromsoftware comes out with a big game again like Elden Ring
LeggoMyGekko: “No”
dinorex3464: We waited a year for the DLC to explain Melina's origins, and they gave her ONE DESCRIPTION
LordBackuro: Really good theory I heard is, that the lore behind grafting might originate, from the Hornsent and shaman jar saints/numen.
That sounds reasonable and if you consider Marika being a shaman/numen too which means she has the ability to melt together with the flesh of other beings too, which can also pass down to her children
It would also make sense for godricks quick grafting and general ability to not be inconvenienced by the grafting, since he technically is a descendant of Marika which makes him a little shaman/numen too.
littlebigbiddy: Melina is the second oldest of her full siblings, and possibly the second oldest of all the demigod children of Merika. Miquella and Malenia were born after the Liurnian wars (and after Radagon left Renala) while Melina and Messmer were born definitely before the second war, though possibly as early as before Godfrey was taken as consort.
thecommentguy9380: I'd say another lore answered is the identity of the Storm Lord. The Dancing Lions are just imitation of the Divine Beast, yet they can conjure storms of all kind, and then there was Serosh
Stormveil must have been once his domain until Godfrey challenged and bested him, and in turn earned the blessings of the Storm Lord by having himself grafted onto the first Elden Lord of the Golden Order
oscarcordero7811: If you think about it. Godricks Grafting ability is from his Shaman Heritage
janaguirre4756: So i ran into my own theory that might give a hint on where the Godskins came from and its in their fire sigil. We all thought it was an eye but upon deeper inspection........ they look like the fingerprint ruins........... it's finger fire...... from space
Shinobi_Monomi: The fact that they made every fucking name sound the same in this is maddening
Fasieh1109: Bro why the bots man??
